I'm rather new to 10C and I have to admit that this is really putting a bad taste in my mouth. I'm sorta questionning what my $50 is actually going to to be exact!? Is it for the same T-Shirt which is suppose to be new every year and isn't, or for a Holiday Single & Vinyl that are still MIA to some after a year of waiting, or to this "Deep Magazine" .... Do I also have to wait a year from a "Welcome Package" and get the same answer from 10C when I email them? Personaly I joined because I love the band, but with that being said, I do NOT want to be treated like a number! Although I get that this is a business etc... this business is built because of it's fans!! Maybe 10C should be reminded of that!!??
What makes me shake my head the most, is the fact that NO ONE from 10C or from Management has said a word about anything to anyone!! Communication is key, and a simple post saying anything at this point would be GREAT!!
I'm not bashing the 10C.... I haven't been around long enough to be able to say anything bad about them... and I'm sure they've done some pretty kickass things in the past!! But I strongly suggest that they start communicating with the members instead of leaving everyone guessing and making assumptions...
Sorry... just my 2cents as a "newbie".
Excellent post..I've been a member for a while and I have to say that while 10C has never been great at communicating with its fans I think it's only gotten worse and worse. I think people are finally on their last straw with everything that has gone on this year (and previous years). They said the membership price increase was to fix the server issues (after saying that the servers werent the issue)..and yet everything is still the same. The worse thing is that 10C won't communicate with its customers and according to CrowdSurge, 10C is not letting them say anything either.

Why is this forum running so slow.... was it a 10C server crash yesterday?
This is what I don't get, the forum should have been fine
Yes, Crowdsurge is located in UK, 10C in Seattle........
But I think I remember Tim saying something about a database they have with all the members info and their seniority. I Am thinking that this site being slow at the same time as the Crowsdurge sale isnt a coincidence. I think Crowsdsurge might need to be connected to this site to access the database. Just an idea.

I just feel like it doesnt matter what you say around here. Whether or not your voice gets heard I just feel like 10c could give a shit less. As long as money is rolling in they dont care about what the fan thinks. As evidenced by the fact that they wont restock items people are petitioning for, or fix problems that everyone has complained about for years, or even update us on situations.
In general the management here has a large disconnect from the hardcore fan base, and as i said, they could care less how we think or what we feel. Management of 10c was put in place because they seemingly knew what they were doing and the band could trust them. Unfortunately now the fan community has no trust in that management and is losing faith in the band because of it. To truely fix things you need to hold the people responsible accountable for all their missteps instead of saying "oh well, we'll get it right next time" or even harboring a feeling that maybe the fan community complains too much (which they do, but in the end they are the ones spending the money to finance this fan club and this great band we all love).
In the end, I hate to say it, but I feel that there needs to be a drastic change with management. But we all know that isnt going to happen. So in the end anything you or I say is all in vein.

As someone who works in this industry you are pretty close to spot on with your reasoning below.I would think that Crowdserge would have their own servers though instead of having to use a CDN to get all the info back to Seattle. That's probably a big part of the problem as well.
Yes, Crowdsurge is located in UK, 10C in Seattle........ [/quote]
I'm ranting now but (and I'll quote myself):
10C has integrated the CrowdSurge Ticketing API into their existing website (bought a piece of code and support from Crowdsurge).
That means they use the same servers as before.
Same servers with the same amount of traffic when sale goes live causes the same problems...

Amateur hour. If most people did their jobs this poorly, they wouldn't have jobs. The complete lack of information only underscores that someone is simply not doing their job. A simple post, even one saying, "Hang in there, we're figuring things out right now and will have information to you in X number of hours" is not too much to ask. Thousands of PJs true fans rearranged schedules, put off important tasks, saved up money, put aside family and other important obligations because they care so much about this band. Is it too much to ask that the band (or more importantly, those behind the scenes) actually care even just a little in return?
You want to run the band like a business and nickel and dime the fans for every little trinket and overpriced hoodie and pair of socks, fine. But if you're going to run this band like a corporate business then you're going to have to start acting like one. That means accountability, that means your "customers" are always right, that means you serve those who keep you in business. Corporations that don't do that cease to be solvent and eventually cease to exist.
The sheer ego behind all of this is staggering. It's insulting. It's like, "We're so big and so awesome that we can do whatever we want, treat our fans however we want. If they don't like it, there's plenty more in line right behind 'em, so who cares what you think or how long you have to wait or how much you have to pay. If you don't like it, too bad for you." This is an amateur operation, run by amateurs who don't have clue one what they're doing. It's all ego, no delivery. I'm truly and honestly disgusted.
You can't even keep your own web site running properly with a mere few hundred fans logged on. Are you kidding me? Is this the 1995 version of the Internet or something?

Started out as a 10C member back in the 90´s but didn´t find it all that usefull for a fan who didnt got all thrilled and excited when i got an ambulance in hardpaper and loads of other memorabilia, guess I just loved the music and the band instead of the merch, got back again in early 00´s after being to their shows in Europe (bought tickets via something like ticketmaster I guess) I found out that since i my stereosystem didn´t play vinyls and I really didn´t get any usefull info about the band and their music trough the "newspaper"-posters that where sent out, I dropped of again...
Now I´m back as a member again hundreds of thousands membernumers later, mostly for the opportunity to buy 10C-tickets and meet up with other fans, (still can´t play vinyls and the deep-books nowadays contains childrens drawings and food recipes??).
But guess what?
During all these years and shows I´ve attend, only two where 10C tix, all others bought at vendors, and I´ve been able to watch the band perform excellent as always from pretty much front row....
My point?
I´m a dumbass who supports someone in the US with a bunch of dollars for something that I really don´t want, and not getting something that I would want (tix)
Love The guys and the music though, hopefully some of my money goes to buying new shirts for Eddie

o2 Priority Moments got it spot on with Manchester today, seemless/easy/faultless - begs the question why cant the ten club and Crowd Surge get it right...?

Regardless of the solution, 10c needs to beta-test any new system that is implemented with ample time to identify issues, diagnose the problems, de-bug the code, re-run beta tests, and keep doing this until all issues and bugs are identified and removed.
We are a rabid and dedicated fan base (over 600 posts in two ongoing threads on ticket issues) and will show up in the 10,000s to hammer away at any mock-sale or dry run of a new ticket system.

WE RE WAITING ... A SECOND WHITE NIGHT ... IT'S NOT NORMAL !!!!!! ... I HAVE A LIFE, A JOB, CHILDS, WIFE, ....
RIght.
Then you realize that concert tickets are not all that important and that PJ and the 10c do things on their terms and release information when THEY feel they are ready to do so. Same as it ever was.
The ten club used to $10 and the service to attend the shows was phenomenal! I simply sent a check in the mail for the shows I wanted to go to and it happened. $40 a year (US) and hours spent to not get tickets is not an improvement. It stinks of taking your fan base for granted and they will not put up with it forever.
I really tried all day long to keep calm. I am checking this site also all day long.
I always loved TC and the band, since 20 years and I still do, but what is going on now is really new to me...
It is not to understand anymore why no news are coming, why there is this complete silence... this is indeed so new, I am still wondering and hardly getting over it.
We all are big fans and we probably all planned our holidays around the tour already and most are working people, so it is a tough one to handle the situation, somehow.
My work today is chaos as I am clued to this computer. My night was a mare as I spent 6 hours staring at a screen and set an alarm clock way too early, so ... finally I need an outlet again.
I do not want to accuse or blame or what so ever, but the silence is just too strange to just ignore.
And as I am really not familiar with the newest technology I fear again that it could be all my fault, my system, my account, my stupidness... and that is NOT a nice thought....
so pleasseeee, dear Ten Club, release us, after 26 hours of waiting and living in front of a screen.... please!!!
and at least I need to blame myself because I wish for the TC tickets because they are so special! So I just can't give up hope to get a pair. I can't rest before not having tried to get them...
so, first time ever in my PJ soundtrack of life, I feel like in a very bad and dependent situation just because I am a fan of the greatest music ever played.
so one more pleaseeee....
there is no way to peace, peace is the way!
...the world is come undone, I like to change it everyday but change don't come at once, it's a wave, building before it breaks.

How can you have no news with public on sale 15 hrs away? There must be something that can be shared, surely?

shame on you. in hidding, rite?
We are a rabid and dedicated fan base (over 600 posts in two ongoing threads on ticket issues) and will show up in the 10,000s to hammer away at any mock-sale or dry run of a new ticket system.
It looks like your 3 bucks to me! AWESOME post! Agreed whole bunch!
the amount of news about PJ music on this site is... STUNNING!:) it is all about merch and even that is far from fantastic..
Prague '95 (w/Neil Young), Warsaw '96, Seattle '98, Katowice x2 '00, Berlin '00, Berlin '06, Katowice '07, Copenhagen '07, Belfast '10, Berlin '10, Amsterdam '12, Prague'12, Berlin x2 '12, Vienna '14, Berlin '14..
Then you realize that concert tickets are not all that important and that PJ and the 10c do things on their terms and release information when THEY feel they are ready to do so. Same as it ever was.
I can't rest before not having tried to get them...
so, first time ever in my PJ soundtrack of life, I feel like in a very bad and dependent situation just because I am a fan of the greatest music ever played.
so one more pleaseeee....
...the world is come undone, I like to change it everyday but change don't come at once, it's a wave, building before it breaks.
a second evening of desperate waiting has arrived.
PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE!!!
PLEASE GIVE US AN APOLOGY!!
PLEASE GIVE US T I C K E T S !!!!
How I wish for you today
