Anyone know a good site to see what people say about opening bands and start times? Trying to decide what time to get to MSG without missing Social D!0

For all the other shows, from what I read over on the Foo Fighter's forum, typically doors open at 6, Joy Formidible on at 7, Social D on at 8, Foos on at 9 and they are very punctual or have been 5 minutes early in some cases.
However, they sent an email yesterday that changed the show start time for MSG from 8 to 7:30, doors open at 6:30, so I am going to assume Joy Formidible on at 7:30, Social D on at 8:30, Foos on at 9:30.rick1zoo2 wrote:Attention ticket holder!

Just got back from the Foos show. Pretty kick ass. Didn't pay for parking
(I parked a few blocks away). Missed Joy Formidle. Social D was decent. I liked them. Foos came on at 9 and played for about 2 hr. 45 min. Same setlists as the other shows but it was fun. Highlights for me was Stacked Actors (they played that for about 15 mins.), Everlong (of course), White Limo, Bridge Burning, Times Like These was fun, Dave came out on a raised platform and played. My seat was pretty kick ass. Right up against a rail by myself (would have been awesome for a Flyers game
)
Dave said they were coming back to play the Electric Factory (and hopefully 4 hours of songs). So that was pretty cool.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

that was a marathon show. we were on the floor, on the rail next to the walkway for most of it, then went to the very back, which was great as Dave was right in front of us for his accoustic set.
Have to say I think it was the loudest show I've ever been to, at points the sound waves began to make me feel nauseous. My head is killing me today.
I took two of my sons with us and I made them go to school today0 -

Thank you, very helpful! Seems like 9:30 might be late for them to start but I will probably plan to be there by 7:30 since my concert buddy wants to catch Joy Formidable.0 -

yes I am
Joy Formidable was good, I liked them a lot. I would say they are a cross between the Cranberries and Foo Fighters. It was a real short set, maybe 30 minutes. Social D played for about 45 minutes.
Not sure what we are doing yet, definitely not going to line up for GA, show is just fine at the back of the floor (getting old, I know). I have a feeling this will be a very long show, bands tend to play longer at MSG (Green Day - 3hrs, 15 minutes)0 -
Joy Formidable actually was already playing when we got there at 6:55. Come on the ticket says 7. They were really awesome too - sounds like a good Christmas CD for the wife.
Social D was awesome, I'd like to see them do a full set.
The Foos were amazing, awesome, really loud, entertaining, and all-in-all spectacular.
I have 2 little issues with the show:
-It was basically a greatest hits collection. Some of us old fans would've appreciated a deep cut or two, especially in lieu of, say, Breakdown. At this point I've seen most of what they played last night 4 times in 4 Foo shows. I'm gonna have a tough time dropping a couple bills on an Electric Factory ticket to hear all the same songs for the 5th time.
-The show was really long, but I think it was kind of fluffed. Every, single, song had a full stop, wait for the cheers, then start again. It kind of got old about a third of the way in.
-Nobody tased Dave after Walk.
I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression that I don't think it was a great show, so I'll finish off with some nice surprises:
-In the Flesh was fucking awesome. Sometimes they are hit or miss with covers, but they really nailed that one.
-Dave has really been practicing his guitar. I feel like he used to be merely serviceable; now he's jamming out solos & back & forth duos with Chris. Wow.
-They played some of that goofy video during White Limo. I fucking love that song.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

I also saw the Foos in Philly last night-loved the show-didn't want it to end! My first real Foos concert, after seeing them at Bridge this year.
Walk was amazing-had the entire crowd going. At times, it felt like the floor was shaking under my feet!"A beacon on dry land"0 -

Yea, that was a real high point. That song is such an anthem!
I really wanted to hear "I Should Have Known" but I guess they need Krist for that. :( I'm a picky bastard, huh?Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

was at the Philly show last night... Grohl is an animal - unbelievable energy for nearly 3 hours... running all over the place... at times I thought his schtick was almost over the top, as in ever moment was going to be the hardest rocking moment ever, but they pulled off an amazing show... Walk was great and is definitely an "anthem" song...
for me, the highlight was Bob Mould coming on stage and playing "Dear Rosemary"... a real treat for a long-time Husker Dü and Mould fan.
also, WEAR EAR PLUGS! The sound is crazy-loud... the mic and instruments are mixed SO loud that you cannot hear the crowd singing unless they stop playing... trust me on this... get a box of earplugs for $3-4 at a CVS or Walgreens and bring them with you... the people around you will appreciate it...37 PJ Shows, 3 EV Shows, 1134 Total Songs, 24 Different Openers, 9 Different Closers, 252 Unique Songs (never enough)0 -

 I would LOVE if Bob Mould came on to sing Rosemary at MSG... I personally think the song sounds a bit off without him.0 -
I was there last night. It was great and extremely loud. Here's my video of In the Flesh.
