Porn star or star wars fanatic, which will it be?

Having my hair cut at the Tony & Guy Academy (only £5! you have to sign and promise not to sue them as well) this afternoon... It'll definitely be one of both, but not sure yet which one! Princess Leia look-a-like, Lolo Ferrari... Could go either way ;)
    Like a cloud dropping rain
    I'm discarding all thought
I'll dry up, leaving puddles on the ground
I'm like an opening band for the sun

    hahaha...

    my real name is stephan...
and as there's going to be such a huge scottish contingent i'll also be the one who'll be doing a lot of smiling and nodding as i won't understand one bloody thing you're saying :D

laura, you know damn well that not all ze germans are tall, blond and blue-eyed... but we DO all love david hasslehoff, lol :D

scot or dunkman or whoever's taking care of the list, we should add real names (maybe even pics) although i don't have a problem calling anyone chumfatty...

do pubs in central london take reservations?
it might be difficult to get a table at the royal george... it's of a decent size but we'll also have to keep in mind that it's going to be our headquarter for the day...

Some days you wake up and sit on a park bench next to an eighty year old Russian architect, and some days you don't. I think this is my new life philosophy.

  • Couple of questions for those who know the Astoria and have been to gigs there.

Is it possible to get downstairs from upstairs?
Is upstairs an OK place to be (good view etc)?
And if there's this club starting at 10:30, what time can we expect the band to have to leave the stage at? How long (or short) a show are we likely to be in for?

i'm inclined to go for porn star :o

get the Princess Leia look going... especially the chained to Jabab the Hut scene... hmmmmmmm

not Lolo Ferrari look as she's dead... plus she looked like a melted barbie doll anyhow :)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

i've got an upstairs ticket also... my friend in Southampton tells me that thats where the celebs/guests friends get put as it's less rowdy... i'm already thinking about what to say to Pete Townsend on the night

i'm going to try and wiggle myself down the stairs though... better atmosphere i reckon although my pal says the balcony is a great view and you dont get jostled around ... he said you can stand with a pint in hand and watch the bands :)

Which sounds good, but you can't beat the front row. Be weird to be at a PJ show and be so far back (even though Astoria's hardly a stadium)

Hahaha no that's been proven wrong by an Irish tv programme who went to Germany and went around asking everyone about David Hasslehoff and those who HAVE heard of him aren't impressed with him

Anywho... got my flight :) Paid the 106 for it flying early Thursday morning and returning early Sunday.

you'll not be so far back anyway... its about 9 people deep... the balcony overhangs those people and if you get to the front left or front right corners of the balcony you could blow on Stone's cowboy hat..

i dont give a fucking toss where i end up... it'll be close enough, loud enough and stiffy inducingly exciting enough for I regardless of position...

at 31 years of age i really shouldnt be this excited...... but i feel like i'm 16 again.... reminding me of the time saucy Tracy McKay from down the road invited me to her house as her parents were away and she said she "might be scared on her own" ;););)

Hahaha, i'm loving the name bit, from across the bar...

"Dunkman1974 and Chumfatty, what you drinking" Hahaha

Well, my name is Fraser and i'll be wearing a David Hasselhoff t-shirt (possibly) and a kilt. Cannae miss me, i'm the mad one.

Pinon, absolutely no concerns that you're a girl http://forums.pearljam.com/images/icons/icon12.gif I know you norwegians girls and i wouldn't challenge you to a drinking competition that's for sure. What's that norwegian liqour that looks like whisky and has a sort of aniseed taste? I was gubbed after that.

Good to see the list growing!
