I think the Stansted express takes 45mins to Liverpool Street station, then u need the tube to Tottenham court rd (where the Astoria is-and da pub ;))

I'm in around 11:30 at stansted, i'll get the train/bus into the centre.

Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get from Stansted to the centre?

Good to see a turnout from some of our Celtic cousins, it'll be good craic.
When I booked the flight the girl told me the Stanstead express is 40 minutes to Liverpool St. Station.

    Cheers, Helen and Shmike!

Speaking on behalf of ScotinAmsterdam, he is rather busy just now but has assured us that he has his iPod loaded with PJ and is looking at this:

stansted express can be a pain in the arse... especially on weekends...
i had my train cancelled before and had to take a bus to liverpool street which took 1 1/2 hours...
but don't worry, you'll get to the astoria in time... just be prepared for some unforseen obstacles whenever stansted is your airport of choice...

Lol, don't worry I'm well prepared... especially when Ryanair is my airline of 'choice' (as in there was no choice really). I'm expecting delays and such - hence the arrival time of 7.45am - allows for 10 hours of fuck ups :D

Sorry to the people who didn;t get tickets. Better luck next time. But lets get down to business and start enjoying our luck!

What's the plan.... Is there a designated place to stay - you all want to meet - is there a good club we can all go to afterwards.

Lets make an event out of this!!!!!

If anyone's up for it. Sign in here and we can introduce ourselves a bit.

I'll be heading over from Amsterdam on the 20th and back on the 21st. I'll be in a Kilt. So far here's the list of people who are going:

Okay... to summarise, theres gonna be lots of Scotsmen in kilt...

There has been suggestions of some talisman to wear which will single us out while we "bask" on the day.

Several bars have been suggested, the royal George seems to be winning.

I'll have a decent bit of error-time too.

Paul, you and Priya should join us! It'll be a get together of Pearl Jam fans from all over. A few beers or whatever and then we go to the gig together. Everyone seems great, don't worry, us Scots are as mad as you thought but totally harmless haha.
