Gotcha, but like he said, people aren't really driving as much anymore, especially with the new Metro North station. That's more of the problem. There are municipal bonds out for these lots and they are going bankrupt.

aren't they charging like $35 to park there tho? ... isn't that part of the problem too? ... ultimately, it's not good for the city ... i drove by the new arena they are building in brooklyn for the nets ... that's gonna be a huge clustercuss but at least it's above a station as well ...

They way they are talking I'd have thought it was $350. $35 is a lot, but come on, it's NY. We pay $15-$20 in shitty little Philly.

they paid arod 400 million for 1 big hit against the phils

    soo horrible

If that makes you feel better. Skip Schumacher could've gotten a big hit off the freaked out 2009 Brad Lidge.

Burnett, on the other hand, did deliver one huge performance for his $82M.

Yeah, the lot I park in from time to time is $35. There isn't really a reason for the majority of people to drive to the games, especially with the Metro North stop.

I just don't understand how the problems of the people, of inner city Detroit, have anything to do with our baseball team. It's easy to take shots at the homeless and less fortunate. Anyone can google a picture and post it.
It's all good man. I'll let my team do my talking.

    i mean cmon...we can't lose to this

But you are losing to that... and it's going to be over tonight. You are trotting out arguably the worst starting pitcher in the playoffs. A.J. Burrnett's career ERA against the Tigers is 6.33, his highest against any team. In other words, A.J. Burrnett is to pitching what Detroit is to Better Homes and Gardens...

A J Will Shock the World Tonight!!!!

I think he might show up and pitch well. Yanks will have to bring out the sticks though.

If the Yanks lose I think their season is over... :geek: ;)

    Who's first in? Phil Hughs?
I'm not familiar with the rest of the Yankee pitchers. Who comes in for long relief?

Gotta hit tonight, need something out of 4-5. I don't think AJ will implode, they aren't going to give him enough room to implode.

    haha, Good call.

Gotta be Hughes. Hopefully that isn't something we will have to deal with though.

Didn't he graduate high school with Jim Leyland?

That makes me happy. Which series is Joe West umping because he is the absolute worst?
