I'm kinda torn about what I want to do.
I'm staying at this site, which I think will be great, but...

I'm not sure if I want to get the shuttle or take my car to Alpine. I love the idea of the shuttle: Drink all day and not have to worry about driving. I also like the idea of driving a car to tailgate out of. I plan to tailgate, and the whole idea of lugging a giant cooler full of beer and food across the lake to the shuttle, then when you get to the venue have to drag around the damn thing, find a place to stash it during the show, then lug it back...x2 days.

    Hmmmmm.... :?

i hear ya. We're driving, or...... maybe we could all just pitch in and rent our own bus. What do you all think?

  • The shuttles/buses from snug harbor are staying at the venue with the driver until we return. The gal told me we can leave coolers/etc on the bus once we go in. I was concerned about where to party/tailgate as well but may just end up setting up shop at/near the bus. Hope the driver is cool with that...
  • Is anyone planning on attending the Wishlist preparty? I'd like to get a carpool going if possible.

I'm staying at Snug Harbor and would love to jump in on this. I'll swim across the lake if I have to!:lol::lol: Or maybe row, don't want the donation items to get wet :D

I was going to looking into using the local taxi service to go the 10 miles to Super 8, and grab the shuttle from there. Not sure what their service hours are since they don't have a web site. Will have to call.
  • Sounds like turtle lake will be covered on all sides by JAMMERS!! Lgoo
Good times!! I'll be @ snug harbor with a group of 9 heading up from Chicago....see ya in 2 weeks!!!
  • Bark River is still an option for folks too. Walk ins welcome and 10 bucks a person. they said they have room for all and a shuttle option.

For as great as the shuttle sounds, my buddy and I decided driving and tailgating out of our own car is the way to go.

Let me know if you guys are interested, and maybe we can figure out some arrangements.
  • Not trying to change your mind, but when I talked to Sharon at Snug Harbor yesterday, she told me there were enough people at McIntyres taking the shuttle that she was going to have them picked up there instead of at Snug Harbor.
Until recently, my member number was 198963. That sucks.

Heading out from CT with my buddy Andy and booked Friday through Monday. Flying in to Madison and will make our way over. Looking to pick up some solid local brews. Anyone have any recommendations? Should be all set up by later afternoon and will be ready to kick the weekend off Friday night if anyone's gonna be around.

    Peace,

Ale Asylum, Lakefront, and New Glarus to name a few. If you'll be in Madison I'd recommend stopping at the Great Dane and grabbing a couple growlers :D

Sounds good to me. Thanks for the recommendations. Will def be picking up a handful of these.

Just booked for five of us coming down from Canada. Gotta cancel the spot I had at Scenic Ridge. This place should be a LOT better and probably similar to the Gorge experience. Pat was great like all of you had said, she is making room for our RV even though she was already full for RVs spots.

Looking forward to partying with all the PJ fans!

Still have room for 2 or 3 leaving from McIntyres to the show on Sunday. Saves you 40 bucks for the shuttle. A beer or 2 is cheaper than the shuttle

Shower: Paper towels and melted ice at the bottom of the beer cooler.
    Toiler: Your neighbor's tent.

Could someone please post the address to the camping on here. I'm already in route and am on a motorcycle. Its easier for me to navigate to the forum than search the web on my phone. Thanks in advance.

I'm landing in Milwaukee Friday night at about 9:30 with another buddy. I'm going to rent a car, so I'll have extra space if someone wants to ride to the resort.

I'll most likely be driving to the shows both nights, so we'll have room as well.
