    It's only been released on VHS up till now.

    the division bell tour in 1994 was called the pulse tour. they released a live VHS tape from the show in london's earle's court. it is an amazing show. i think the high point of it for me is High Hopes. dave sounds amazing on it. anyway 12 years later they are getting ready to put it out on dvd. check it out when it is released, it will blow your mind. the comfortabley numb solo is mind blowing as well. i'm hoping the dvd will have the whole show though. on the vhs they cut out a few songs from the setlist like astronomy domine.

    except this tour, well when i saw em in chicago anyway, he has been using the saddle on the bridge of his guitar to do it.

    i was in college in the mid-90s (Pulse was released in '95 I'm pretty sure) and i don't think there was one dorm room that didn't have that damn blinking red light in it! :)

    That's so weird, because Division Bell is the one album i've heard by Pink Floyd and i loved it. High Hopes just floored me, almost brought tears to my eyes.

    I'll definitely check this bad boy out, thanks!

    OMG DUDE MINE IS STILL FLASHING LOL!!! i'm half tempted to take a pic and post it for you. i have never once changed the batteries and that bad boy is still flashing lmao.

    They still do odd shows now and then and Roger Waters is touring this summer.

    I think the Pulse DVD is going to open up a whole new generation of fans.

    That would be kewl as shit. I got one over in germany in 99 with the blinking light and a buddy of mine was PISSED i got that cause he couldn't get it over here. LOL

    i think time and age just caught up to them. roger left the band after the final cut album in 1983. dave and nick got richard back in the band and they kept on trucking. they never announced an official split by any means. i really believe that they will do one more full out reunion tour with roger before it's over with. they seemed in good spirits at live 8 and seemed to actually get along. if you liked division bell definately check out momentary lapse of reason. both albums were dave's babies pretty much. and as for the roger waters era, check out meddle and animals.

    the funny thing is, I own almost all of the Floyd albums, but not this one. everyone i knew had it, and it was on a lot, so I felt no need to get it. i needed money to buy weed!!

    but now that its on DVD.... shit yeah, i'm getting that asap.
