Of course! He´s one of my personal heroes for shutting out the yankees the way he did.

We were lit up by James Shields earlier in the month, and now Lee does the same thing tonight. Dominant left-handed pitching is our weakness. I gotta tip my cap to these guys for shutting down the best lineup in baseball. I am very worried about facing both these guys come playoff time. That's right, I'm still saying the Rays make the playoffs and the Yanks don't.

With all the crazy payrolls out there (red sox as well) in all sports, turning down the yankees for less money, is a milestone worthy of a standing ovation. Yankee fans would not understand this, of course. ;) They would much rather say he´s better of in the NL

he is..he can dominate the weaker league with no stick in the bottom of the order

the yanks have enough guys over 37 making millions....don't need another one on the books in a few years ...

cant get em all....he couldn't handle the big city....it was his right to go to the comforts of a 2nd -3rd starter

    Goddamn! Just as I feared.

It would be a miracle if the red sox bats hammer hamels tomorrow. :(

All those that had John Lackey in the "most RBIs for the Red Sox tonight" pool, raise your hand ...

    ... no one? Really?

well,..... gonzalez literaly hammered hamels today! And he finished 0 for 4. Whow knows how it would of turned out if hamels did not injure his hand. Hero of the day: the C.

The yankees go ahead in the division is the least of my worries for the red sox right now. Buc and becket back on track is the key. After that, hits from the batters that have been in a huge blackhole these past weeks.
