Please, please never refer to him as laser show. that is quite possibly the worst trash talk I have heard in my life. It's embarrassing to your entire organization.0

Lighten up, Francis.
It became a hit after this ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPvMOVFshyI
He was defending a teammate ... and he was 100% spot on, both on his horrible start and huge year, and same with Ortiz. As someone who preaches patience in this thread constantly, I'm pro-laser show ...
.... so, relax.
In other news ... nice come back on the 'stros tonight."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

I'm also pro laser show. The guy has a lot of fire in him which comes from always being doubted because of his size. His antics definitely helsp fire up the team.I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.0

Wow, the Astros bullpen is painful to watch.
I guess when you go into the season with Brandon Lyon as the closer, that's to be expected.
Last interleague game today, lessons learned for the World Series (if the Sox make it there, of course).
All Star game rosters to be announced today.
EDIT ...
Gonzalez and Ortiz starters.
Beckett made it ... and Ellsbury gets his first All Star appearance. just missed out as a starter, but, he lost to Hamilton, so, I'm cool with that."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

The interleague games was a major breakdown for the sox, but buchholz´s injury has a lot to do with it, I believe. They depend on him so much right now. BTW, does anyone know when is he expected to come back?
13 straight games against the jays, orioles, and rays are next with the ASG in between. I kinda have a bad feeling about this, especially toronto and tampa. Good news is ortiz will be back in the starting lineup again.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0 -
The Astros bullpen and fielding, I'll miss it ...
As for Buchholz ...
07.03... Clay Buchholz (back) was able to play catch Saturday. "We'll see how he reacts from there,'' Francona said. "He might be down a couple of days before he starts a throwing progression, but we'll see how he reacts.'' Assuming he has no setbacks, Buchholz should be ready shortly after the All-Star break."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

you guys will be fine...a full team that's great and some backups to make up for injuries. at least the brewers came out the other end tied with the cards. good luck...sorry i threw a fit a few weeks back.0

7 runs allowed before noon (pacific time). At least I can enjoy the rest of my day without worrying about the Sox.
Thanks Lackey!
Happy 4th everyone."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Two errors cost them the game in the end. Shit happens.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0

It was nice to take a 3 day break from this team. I care about this stuff way too much."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250

I feel refreshed after this weekend. Ready to endure the summer swoon from my boys. Back to the everyday grind that is the Red Sox.
Hope everyone in the Nation enjoyed their holiday weekend."FF, I've heard the droning about the Sawx being the baby dolls. Yeah, I get it, you guys invented baseball and suffered forever. I get it." -JearlPam09250 -

Ay Caramba!
What a play to end the game. I hate to admit, but it seems he was safe. The right leg could have tagged homeplate just before varitek tagged him. Great block by the C, though.
Another wild night for papelbon.IN THE DARK, ALL CATS ARE BLACK.0 -
John McDonald, who would have had the game tying hit, actually grew up in the same town I did and is related to a friend from school. He is such a great defensive player, and always manages to kill the Sox with his bat some how. He actually had a game winning squeeze against the Yankees earlier this year as well. Well anyways when John came up, I knew he was gonna knock that guy in, but thank god for "The Crab Man,"(If you get the reference, I love you) for a great throw home, a great block by 'Tek and a (possible) blown call by the ump.32 shows and counting...0

From my experience with Red Sox fans, if any of them admit the possibility that they got a break, then they got a HUGE break.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25
