It's too bad, Eager would have helped our cause with all the dumb penalties he took. It's almost like the coach suspended him so the league didn't have to. lol.

    wow ...

i gotta feel for the sharks fans ... watching their team blow lead after lead is tantamount to torture ...

hopefully, 'nucks have some time to get their D healthy again for the finals!
  • Heart vs. head here.

Although I picked the Nucks to win it all, I am fearful that the 3 series they have played thus far may have taken a huge toll on their health, especially if Kesler is anything but 100%.
The Bruins are even more physical than any of the 3 teams Van. has knocked out so if it's those
2 for the finals then I don't know if Vancouver will survive, especially if it's a long series.
The good thing is that the twins appear to have awoken but they are going to need the other lines
to start contributing offensively on a nightly basis.
The bruins appear to be much better balanced with their scoring and the goaltending is a wash.

At this point, they match up better with the Bolts.

One request for Rogers arena...they definitely need a better goal scoring song. The instrumental part of "Holiday" by Green Day? That might be the worst goal celebration song in the league. Nothing against Green Day, it's just not a good goal scoring song. C'mon Vancouver you are better than that. Lets work on it before the Stanley Cup Finals, eh. ;)

I watched thast entire game on Versus last night/ into this morning out here in the East.

    It was thrilling,
And yes that was a weird goal to end it after 2 OTs,...
    Now for Vancouvers Finals' opponent:

If its Boston- Original 6 teams and Vancouver,...another 7 game series?

    If its Tampa Bay-
Couldnt get any further apart geographically-
diagonal & opposite ends of the continent .
Somehow this just doesnt have the attraction of a Van-Bos matchup, IMO .

  • I think it's safe to say Lord Stanley is really going home this year back to Canada. The Canucks are too big and too fast for these two teams left in the east IMO...and as a team I think a lot more talented than Boston/Tampa. Definitely looking forward to the finals though, I love playoff hockey even when my Pens are out of it
