We go every year, and we missed last year because we made a trip to Boston. (my choice).

So this year she is not budging.

Now don't cry for me, and/or feel I'm too much of a wimp.

I've got a free ticket to London, but the whole family can't go, so I'm going alone end of June/beginning of July.

We have a family trip planned to Hawaii in August.

If those things were not happening I'd be strong about going to the fest.

But $$$, time, and upper hand are not on my side for this event.

Well, I'm not exactly an ordained minister, but my parents made me be an alter boy at our church when I was a kid, so I bet i could handle a ceremony of this caliber.
