I am sure they are scouting every pitcher that could be available. Nothing to see here.0 -
Mitre hurt, looks like the other 3 will most likely make the team.
Edit: Oh and Banuelos is taking his spot tonight and pitching against Boston, which is on ESPN. That should be awesome. Move over Montero, the hype around Banuelos is at obscene levels right now.0 -

I didn't see it, read about it though. Heard it was pretty damn impressive. He is incredible. I like paying attention to spring training to watch the young guys.
Edit: I thought this was great from Chad Jennings.

Did you see the Sports Science thing ESPN did last week? It was awesome, let me see if I can dig it up.
Edit: For some reason the video isn't up anymore but it basically said that by the time the batter can pick up on the spin of the ball based on the velocity and everything else, it is impossible for the human eye to see the spin and react to the late movement. That's awesome.
He also had this quote, which I love: “Get it and throw it and let’s go home.”0 -

I read this ....
Yankees Have Some Interest In Oliver Perez
... and I was like
then I read this ...
However, GM Brian Cashman doesn't seem enthused about the 29-year-old left-hander.
... and I was like :(
Makes sense to stock up on lefties with the Red Sox lineup so heavily left handed ... but, Cashman's way to smart to fall for Ollie's lack of control. Damn."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

sounds like something being thrown against the twitter wall to draw some attention.. hard to believe Perez once dominated the Yankees in a 2002 interleague game at San Diego.Reading 2004
