Dude you've seen so many shows already. Give some of us other members with higher numbers to see the band up close. Do you see how spoiled Pearl Jam makes you?Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.0 -
benjs wrote:I think, first of all, you can't deny that there is an issue with people with such low numbers getting such terrible seats. If a 10C seat is on par with a Ticketmaster seat, there's something wrong with this system which has given the die-hards an opportunity to see the band with great seats previously. However, I really do wonder what the 10C tells you when you contact them about it. If I were them, I would offer an apology by shipping you a free bootleg of the show.Binary solo..0000001000001111000011100

don't give me that bs. the seats are based on seniority and I love that the lottery is in place for people with higher numbers. We got screwed though. Look at touringfans and look.Member 164xxx

Its not the will calls fault. It's the 10 club. Your tickets are in an envelope with your name and member # printed on the front that you actually have to sign before they hand you the tickets inside. It's the 10 club nitwits that screwed it up. Its almost like they said.........

You mean other than being to 20 shows before and knowing where my seats usually are and then being in the last possible fan club row all of a sudden with 30 people who have the same 164xxx fan club number. Sitting behind a group of 6 people who said they bought the tickets in front of us that morning on ticketmaster. Having a fan club member who has a 404xxx sitting 5 rows in front of us. My cousin who has a 181xxx at the show sitting in a non lottery sec 103 seat. All conjuncture huh?Member 164xxx

yeah, I'm with you on this...
In 2003 my 10c seats were 5th and 8th row...
since then, 20th row in 2006 and 15th the other night...
I hoped to be getting closer, not farther...with that said, I had a great time at the shows...I know nothing is perfect, but I was hoping for better...0 -

That might be the case.
However, in Tampa, there were reports of the will call people allegedly stealing the "lottery tickets" and replacing them with whatever shit tickets were lying around. Obviously, we don't know if it's true or not, but it doesn't seem like it would be that difficult for someone to get another envelope and write your name on it. It ain't rocket science.everybody wants the most they can possibly get

And I would venture to guess that since 2003, that TM has allocated less tickets to fan clubs and the venue has taken on more VIP season passes, so saying that you should be moving closer is true but doesn't take into account things which are out of the control of the 10C.This is your notice that there is a problem with your signature. 1 Show???? Not a fan :-)
Get over it, sheesh, you come off as a pompus tool who is complaining about having to sit with the commoners. You saw the stage...correct??? I know it's hard and you will now blast me for even challenging your little vent session but honestly, who freaking cares??? With that number you have probably more times then not had awesome seasts. For once, somebody who didn't ordinarily get to be close probably got there one shot at glory. For you to be angry (or try to BS all of us by saying your "disapointed") is just plain sad, as are you.0 -
This whole story sucks, and I feel bad for the original poster. However ...
I'm old enough to remember a time when it was difficult to get a ticket -- any ticket -- to see Pearl Jam play. I remember having to line up 10 of my friends on a Sunday morning to call this damn phone number and get a busy signal over ... and over ... and over ... until we got through. Well, only one of us did. It was me. I bought the maximum four tickets, and six of my friends were screwed. Left out in the cold.
We wouldn't have cared where our seats were. We just wanted to be in the building.
That kind of experience has stuck with me over the years. I don't go into any show *hoping* for anything. I just take what I get, am happy to be in the building, and I'm never disappointed. Sometimes, however, I am pleasantly surprised.
It works for me, anyway.everybody wants the most they can possibly get

maybe if the 10c was a little more responsive and took responsibility for certain things, people wouldn't need to resort to name calling."and onward goes this thing of ours."
