5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
I swear , some of these pearl jam fans are such spoiled brats, never seen such an amazing band do so much and everyone just bitches, and fuckin bitches, about seats, posters ,lines, bootlegs, everything
I wouldn't have cared so much if I was going to or went to another show on this tour, but last night was my only show and for that f-up to happen is just disappointing. We were all more disappointed more than mad. we made the best of it, but still going to voice our displeasure today.

Get over it, sheesh, you come off as a pompus tool who is complaining about having to sit with the commoners. You saw the stage...correct??? I know it's hard and you will now blast me for even challenging your little vent session but honestly, who freaking cares??? With that number you have probably more times then not had awesome seasts. For once, somebody who didn't ordinarily get to be close probably got there one shot at glory. For you to be angry (or try to BS all of us by saying your "disapointed") is just plain sad, as are you.

I'm old enough to remember a time when it was difficult to get a ticket -- any ticket -- to see Pearl Jam play. I remember having to line up 10 of my friends on a Sunday morning to call this damn phone number and get a busy signal over ... and over ... and over ... until we got through. Well, only one of us did. It was me. I bought the maximum four tickets, and six of my friends were screwed. Left out in the cold.
We wouldn't have cared where our seats were. We just wanted to be in the building.
That kind of experience has stuck with me over the years. I don't go into any show *hoping* for anything. I just take what I get, am happy to be in the building, and I'm never disappointed. Sometimes, however, I am pleasantly surprised.
It works for me, anyway.

While I agree that there are some things that people complain about that are ridiculous... this is a fair one. If people are at the VERY back of seating with #s in the 160xxxs... that's not right and something wrong happened.

I don't care what your number is, if when you buy your tickets the 10C tells you it's seniority based - damn right it should be seniority based. And if 10C tells you you're getting seats guaranteed better than the "commoners", damn right you should get seats better than the commoners. The 10C is a business and naturally should be attempting to service their clients if they aren't happy, and trying to write wrongs. You are insulting a person because they made a purchase, did not receive what they were promised, and are voicing their dissatisfaction. Does that really seem right to you?

This is almost exactly like me, except I never got through on the phone calls :( It was drive to California and hope you can find a ticket.

Plus it everyone seems to forget Grand Rapids in 06' That was one of the best shows of that tour, and so far this sounds like one of the best on this tour so far.

There were at least 3 rows of us that I talked to who were in the last 3 rows of section 204. All of us pissed. We are never further away that row 13 and tonight based on seniority we are in the last 3 rows of the amphiteater. We were so far at the end there were only about 15 people in the last 4 rows total. We were all about 15 feet from the lawn. There was a guy who was in the fan club for a year and a half who was 5 rows in front of us.
I also knew people with an 181xxx number who was in section 103(non lottery row).
We all said we were calling the 10 club tonight to vent.

If the lottery tickets were switched by the will call and replaced with shit tickets, where we were would make sense. Wouldn't the 10 Club know exactl where we were to sit? I'm sure if someone did something to warrant being banned, theyd know who was supposed to be sitting in those seats.

you could always join new kids on the block's fan club. they seat by seniority, and there's not that many active members as of today. in other words, your 164xxx could score you seats within the first eight rows, easy.

you obviously had my seats. and yes the fan club numbers do matter when you ordered them through the fan club(which we all did). they weren't ticketmaster seats.

Like maybe, "We're very sorry this happened. 10club staff is looking into it to find out what happened & see that is doesn't happen again." & To those who are complaining about people "bitching." We are told we are getting a certain something & have every right to be upset or disappointed when we don't receive it. We'll see how unnecessary or whatever complaining is when it happens to you.
The Ten Club ticket system is fine. Sure, seal the tickets when they are put in the envelopes. Past that, the system is fine. Mistakes happen.
This is the first serious thread I've read since I joined this board about a significant amount of tickets being switched. Sounds like an isolated incident to me. Sure, there may be one or two cases here and there were tickets are switched by a non-TC employee, but such is life. If 98% of the TC ticket process runs smoothly, it is fine.
If you want the Ten Club to ramp up their ticket system, you may have to pay for it, and we've seen what $7 shipping costs do to people here.
Now, if I don't get front row at MSG II in my fourth and final try at the lottery this year, there will be HELL to pay!
