Faithful from Seattle is one of my favs, Eddie's heavy breathing at the beginning gives it a unique atmosphere/feeling; always thought this show was indoors until I got the video (DVD) . . .

Wishlist from the Letterman show could add a rinkle and much like your Daughter from SNL on VS. project mixes it up well . . .

Throw your Arms around me from Mansfield is great but not sure you are looking to add that as a bonus track . . .

Also, perhaps you should asterick the songs on the compilation that have Jack on drums, being the constant PJ historian and all, as I know Cameronforpresident is . . .

Faithful from Seattle is a great version of that song. We will have to check out "Wishlist", it's been a long time since I listened to that one.

I have to admit that I am not to keen on the SQ for Mansfield. It's a great boot, but the sound is so flat.
Also, perhaps you should asterick the songs on the compilation that have Jack on drums, being the constant PJ historian and all, as I know Cameronforpresident is . .

    :lol::lol:

Don't forget to listen to Pilate and In Hiding from the 1/31/98 Monkey Wrench Radio Broadcast, which you may like . . .

Also, there may be something in the four Oakland 97 shows opening up for the Stones; but the sound quality may not be up to par . . . actually the more I think about it, the sound sucks, to bad, kinda historic shows

Good luck with the project, can't wait to download and rock out to it  And as always, keep up the good work!! ;)

Thanks for the input. A great help I think. The frustration I have been having is that the bootlegs with the best sound quality are not necessarily those with the best performances, and vice versa. As I say, I have been a bit 'underwhelmed' with the suggestions I have made so far. I will listen to that Seattle Faithfull and Monkey Wrench in a short while, and see if it inspires! It will be easier once we have the rough draft I guess, because then we can home in on the versions that might be letting things down

    Ahh, Monkey Wrench Radio...
I kind of overlooked that one.

I had thought about those '97 shows opening for the Stones, but the sound quality is just no good for this project.

Thanks for the help and support NorthShoreBlues, we can't wait to get this out there for everybody to listen to.

Trying to fill in the gaps and I'm a bit confused there.
Has U been played in the 1998 tour at all ?

Soldier of Love, that didn't make the cut on the Binaural compilation, has been played for the first time in East Lansing on the 08/18 ... apparently.
I don't know how it'd fit with the overall mood of the compilation but should we consider including it at all ?

I think Soldier of Love may fit better than Last Kiss - and you're right - we haven't used SoL before. I haven't been able to find U either :(

Interesting "U" wasn't played until 2000. I just assumed it was played in '98. "U" is officially off the list. SOL is a possibility.

I can have an open mind to it, but I do not think that it fits the mood of the album.

Tremors & Myra, what do you think? SOL = Yes or No?

I am about to try the Monkeywrench broadcast for DTE - I've listened to a few from some of the shows we've identified as having better SQ, but not been too impressed. If you can find a good one electricxlovex then we're all ears!

As for Soldier of Love - I'm not that keen - I would rather we find something else if I'm honest. Were there any good covers in 1998 that weren't Last Kiss / Soldier of Love?

"Act of Love" Wrong time period

I thought Leatherman from Seattle sounded ok. But I'm not a big fan of that song. At all. So I might be wrong there.

As regards the bonus song #2, I'm a bit disappointed with the variety in the covers from that tour. It seems to be a lot of Leaving Here and Baba O'Riley, a couple of Sonic Reducer, some Throw your Arms ... and that's about it. Am I missing out on cool ones there ?

Although I like Patriot from Englewood. Possibly first time it's been played too. Even though I'm not sure it'd fit with the mood either.

    Looks like our options are:

**Interstellar Overdrive = I like this one, but it's really more of an improv and we don't need two improvs as bonus material

    *SOL = Doesn't Fit

    **Last Kiss = Doesn't Fit

    ***KKK = Lyrics messed up
