TEN CLUB ANALOG AND DIGITAL MEMBERSHIPS
With Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary year upon us bringing lots of goodies to boot, Ten Club is excited to announce a new option-based fan club experience for your 2011 membership renewal. Starting January 1, 2011 Ten Club will offer two (2) levels of membership -- ANALOG and DIGITAL -- giving you the option to choose the membership format that best suits your lifestyle. While our hard core dedicated ANALOG Level collectors will have even more limited edition annual freebies to add to their archives, our DIGITAL Level members can look forward to the streamlined, paperless, no-postage-necessary, virtual-only experience. Now's the time to dig deep and ask yourself, "Am I Analog or Digital?"
The 2011 renewal option change will not affect your current membership benefits. All memberships purchased in 2010 will keep the same benefits until it's time for your 2011 renewal. At that point, you will get to choose one (1) of these renewal options:

Same here. Along with others!
$20 gets you the same old, same old. $20 MORE gets you:
Free Bootleg Download – Coupon code included in the renewal confirmation email
Limited Edition Vinyl 45 Holiday Single
Limited Edition Hard Copy of Deep Magazine
Limited Edition Ten Club T-Shirt – New Design Each Year sent at the Time of Renewal Purchase!
On a sidenote, the t-shirt might be worth close to $20 alone.
And notice that Pearl Jam...the fans of vinyl...want you to UPGRADE to analogy. Spin The Black Circle!
seriously?
What bootlegs are the question.
but wtf announce this on NYE in the first place? why not announce this a month ago? people are drained from the holidays... people are busy now... people go back to work in 2 days
shitty timing on top of a shitty idea
and i intend to keep being a whiny prick until we get some answers
lets see the analog-exclusive shirts! lets answer what happens to people paid up for the next 5 years! lets get the FUCKING 2010 SINGLE IN THE MAIL
http://seanbriceart.com/
It says they'll send you a coupon code so I'm assuming its the bootlegs available in Goods. Applying the code at checkout will make it free.
Oh Dude!
Starting December 31, 2010
I just tried to renew and its already up.
if it hasnt been done yet, i'd have someone ask that question during the next call in show on sirius next week.
No. :x
Oh Dude!
i think LIE is a bit much. i'm sure there was the intent to do something, it just got derailed for some reason. not to say that the fact we have not heard anything about it in over a year isn't BS...
Yea mine is up in May, just for kicks I checked to see if I can renew, won't work. Wonder if it's a site problem or if we can't renew at the old price today?
Since it's new years eve, I guess I won't know the answer to that. I have a few months to decide if I should pay double or cancel.
Saratoga Springs, Toronto '00
Toronto, Montreal '03
Kitchener, London, Hamilton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto '05

Glad I'm renewed into August so the sourness of this news can temper until then. I love Pearl Jam and will continue to keep my membership at the highest level but this is just capitalism plain and simple.
I for one will be analog, and if they made a higher tier would prolly be that!
Only thing I want to know is my membership is good until 2012, how does it impact that?
That seems to happen alot in 10C land.
But at least Tim's getting a big, fat pay raise. It's more than most of us are getting.
Wash me in the blood of Rock & Roll
everyone who said they will cancel their membership... i call your bluff
if anything, if not for the tickets at leat most people will renew to come here to bitch about everything on a daily basis
Indeed. Sooner or later, those 45X,XXX membership numbers may be pretty damn good. (I'm 279XXX and, based on posts, i'm liking my number.)
Keep in mind that the price hasn't really changed all that much. Not everyone wants the record, and i'd imagine that it costs money to ship out, so here's a discounted option.
I'm GUESSING that when I renewed in 2010, which extended my membership until January of 2012, i'd keep the same benefits, since it was under the OLD plan. I'd be getting the physical copies of Deep AND the record for 2011, and all that.
