I'm looking forward to St. John's conference opener Wednesday in West Virginia. I had some doubts after losing to St. Bonaventure and Fordham but beating Davidson and Northwestern helped improve my feeling about them, not that it was that high to start with.

big east could have around 9 teams in the tourney this year. that's nuts.
