There is so much parity this year, not only in the Big East. There doesn't seem to be one dominant team. Should make the NCAA Tournament fun to watch.

Apparently a genius Big East coach doesn't think Kemba is a unanimous pick for All-Big East First Team.

Oh boy the popsicle sucking festival is in full swing on this thread.

Somehow St. Johns has a 4 seed in the latest bracketology (unchanged despite the Seton Hall beatdown). Nice losses to Fordham & St. Bonaventure. That's as many A-10 losses as projected 7 seed Temple (except SJU was 0-2 - Temple is 14-2). I guess consistency doesn't mean anything.

Free-falling Villanova held on to a 7 seed. Who the hell comes up with this shit? What bothers me is that the committee will give all these Big East teams ridiculous seeds, just as predicted.

It has finally arrived!!! The best time for college basketball is starting. Conference tournaments and then the NCAA. UConn gets the first game and hoping they're a changed team in the tournament.

so 3 games ended up separating the 11th place and 3rd place teams in the final regular season standings.

the big east is a god damn beast of a conference.
I don't understand why people say the ACC, Big 10, and Big 12 are up there with the Big East. It's like this:

    Big East

    ACC
    Big 10
    Big 12

I diagree. The Big 10 is above the ACC for sure and I think the gap is bigger. ;)

I don't think we have a scene quite like Ruckers, but I've been to Hank Gathers Gym/Playground and that was cool.

you're a stoga guy Jaegs? I played against the Clay Buckley-Dane Watts teams back in they day. They were awesome but Buckley was such a tool. Still believe he is one of only like 3 guys to play in 4 straight final fours with Greg Koubek and one other dukie.

and used to hang out at the Berwyn Tavern a bit and the Main Lion (now john harvards i believe still?) a ton back in the day as well. fun and drunken times.
