  • FYI for all you vinyl collectors! Was just at my local record store, and they started getting some stuff in for next Friday's "Black Friday RSD". I saw the BC's 10" picture disc and it looked pretty cool. The manager also showed me a free promo that they got to give away that was a 7" from the BC's pressed on clear vinyl that had covers of Ry Cooders' "Boomer's Story" on one side, and Little Feat's "Willin'" on the other. Don't know how rare it will be, if at all, but I almost ripped that fucker out of his hands and ran out of there! So if you're going out Friday to get some of the RSD stuff being released, ask for it! Those are 2 great songs!

Is the picture disc just and acoustic and electric Remedy?

Yup. Would've prefered a different song on the b-side, but oh well. It'll still look sweet on the turntable. There's a Croweology download card that comes with it too.

    I know.

But I've been thinking that it may not be that long, or as long as they planned. This tour has been pretty successful and Croweology sold pretty well. Proves that people still want to hear them.

That's a good point. Plus they've done a "hiatus" before. I think it's painfully obvious that they are at a new peak in their career, and more so their musicianship and writing. They as much as anybody have to realize that it would be foolish to stay away from that for too long.

By the way, the final six shows, all at The Fillmore in San Francisco, are up on iTunes instead of liveblackcrowes.com.

I highly recommend them. The sound quality it 100 times better than the recent releases by liveblackcrowes.com. The iTunes shows at least actually sound like the band.

If you've been looking to get some of their more recent recordings there is no need to look further than these six amazing shows. I'm so happy they decided to release them this way.

^^^It started sinkin in with me at the show I attended, again at the point in the tour when they soundchecked Custard Pie.

At least they have plenty of music to explore and they'll be back before we know it. I think they're even playin a festival over in Europe somewhere this summer. Can't wait to see the brothers live in their separate musical paths.

    Hey Flagg,

Did the Houston show ever get released? I'm thinking it may be one of the "lost" shows which sucks if not released. That was an excellent show.
