    Obviously, we grew up in a society where "the pot" is illegal, and alcohol is legal for those over 21. Does anyone else know people who are opposed to "the pot" solely due to this fact instead of a more intelligent reason/intelligent stance. And, if so, do you think, if we grew up in a society where "the pot" was legal and alcohol was illegal, that these same people would be open to "the pot" and opposed to alcohol.

    What does this say about society?

    We are born into a system of thought - an ideological system; a religious system; a cultural system; a social system; and we don't even question the confines of the system? Is there something wrong with this? We just follow the prescribed formula of thought?

    i hope so!..by the way it's been about 4 and half months of no smoking for me,haven't been drinking either.still have my occasional cravings but over all i have adjusted to living clean. not smoking before sleep was the hardest thing to ajust to....i may treat myself to one doobie before i see the wall live in november :mrgreen:
