and when we get shutout tonight ....
Eh. Cliff Lee will be a Yankee soon enough and Montero is going to be the real deal if they can find him a spot.0 -

True but now that he has a ring it's gona take forever to get ride of him. :?If they gave Torre that team, he would've won a championship. But Girardi's managerial skills are awful.

To say Girardi does not know how to manage is compete nonsense. Disagreeing with some of his decisions is one thing (I would not have walked the kid in the 10th) but to say he does not know how to manage, come on.
The fact is, he plays numbers and has had a rested bullpen for 2 years now, something we have never seen with the previous manager.0 -
on a bright note...aceves looks just about readyi post on the board of a band that doesn't exsist anymore .......i need my head examined.......0

Please, Dave Robertson would have 80 innings on his arm already.0 -
He kept AJ in too long and look what happened.Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

Left him in too long? The home run was hit in the 6th inning and AJ got through the 7th with 3 runs. I would hope the manager does not baby the pitcher and take him out after 5.2 innings with a runner on 1st. He missed his spot on that pitch, that's it. He had a 1,2,3 inning in the 7th. You are trying to hard to hate on Girardi. Burnett looked great, missed his spot on 1 pitch.0 -
It's tough to say. Torre will always be a god in my book, but i've played Strato-matic Baseball and Won , in 27, 61. 88, 92 o.k i cheated, but still. I'f the yanks need me i''m there.0

Whos looking forward tonight? Not this guy.
I am sure the Yanks hitters are not as well.0 -

ah, I'm assuming it's another cliff lee interview. I'll definitely have to work the remote tonight. Last night's yanks/rangers game was a good one. Arods' homer was a missle0 -

Yeah, Cliff Lee going tonight. Usually does not turn out well for the Yanks.
That was a bomb last night. Tough loss though.0 -
So Granderson has gone through a swing transformation in the last 24 hours. He is shortening his swing and closing is body a little I believe. Having a tough year but not sure if a pennant race is the time to try and transform your swing. Then again, it can't get much worse.0

Fantastic AB from Arod. Just as Sutcliffe was trashing him the entire time.0
-
So I have a choice between the Rangers broadcast in non HD and ESPN in HD. Chose ESPN and Sutcliffe just trashed Arod the entire AB then went on to say that Robinson Cano didn't even dress for last nights game. Fucking unreal. How do people this unprepared have a job?0
-
Just brutal
hell of a throw from swisher there. Espn announcers are jumping up and down cheering for Texas0 -
Woooooooooohooooooooo Thames. What a fucking game. Down 6-1 to cliff lee and now winning 7-6.0
