    It's not necessarily bad for the players, but it just seems that the NBA stretches out these playoffs so much more than is necessary. The thing that really kills me is when they have two days off between games when they are in the same city.

    ...and then one day off when traveling between cities. If they're going to force themselves to a Thursday/Sunday/Tuesday-only schedule, why not start at least start on a Tuesday so that the three-day layoffs will at least be between travel days?

    i used to smoke blunts with artest after his games at Lasalle here in NYC . a good friend of mine was on his team .Those were the days

    I was in a class with him at St. John's and knew him fairly well then. He's a little nutty but a helluva nice guy.

    I know man, I'm just playin'. I have no way of saying he did or didn't..., it's all in fun...chill.

    However, it is pretty funny to be at a Jazz game when the Lakers are here and the whole crowd erupts into the chant "RA-PIST"...it's just funny man.

    One thing I can say to Kobe, is good timing on cheating on your wife...had he done it now, he'd be subjected to People magazine covers, un-godly amounts of media coverage (more so than there was), and let's not forget...the ever so needed sex therapy. :roll:

    I don't dislike Kobe as much as I used to when he was younger and played and acted like a brat. Now, he plays like what he is, a skilled and experienced veteran.
