Canned Food Drive
We're going back to our roots!! We are accepting all kinds of canned and boxed food & nonperishable items (new, unopened, unused non-perishable) for the food pantry that is around the corner from MSG - Bread of Life Food Pantry. It is located within St. John the Baptist Church on 31st street. For each canned/food item you bring in you will receive one free raffle ticket!!

The Bread of Life Food Pantry's mission is the provide the needs of the poor and marginalized. While recognizing that hunger is not simply the lack of food, we also try to address the physical needs and the underlying challenges often at the core of hunger. These challenges include unemployment, addiction, mental illness, age, infirmity and lack of awareness of entitlement programs, among others. The population served by the bread of life Food pantry is as varied as the makeup of New York City. Their clients consist of families living below the Federal poverty level, single women with children, the elderly living on limited incomes, the working poor who cannot afford to buy food, and the unemployed. In 2009 the Bread of Life Food Pantry served 30,787 clients and distributed 12,744 food bags..


Pearl Jam Lyric Challenge Game!
Host Dirty Tom gives you a line from a song. You and your team must answer the line that comes after the line we give you, as well as the name of the song. Team who scores the most points wins!

What are the rules?
  • All lyrics will be taken directly from Pearl Jam's website under the MUSIC section
  • All lyrics will be from studio released albums, including the Re-release of Ten. (9 albums total)
  • Players will be split up into teams of 5. (Pre-selected teams are accepted. Sign up in the thread post below (coming soon)
  • Each team will have a "buzzer". Buzzer to be decided at event.
  • A line from a song will be read, then each team will have the chance to "BUZZ-IN" with their answer
  • After the Game Leader decides which team buzzed-in first, the team will have 15 seconds to complete the next phrase of the song, and name the song.
  • Game Leader and a judge will decide if the team stated the phrase correctly. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • If answered correctly, the team will receive 5 points.
  • If answered incorrectly, the remaining teams will have another chance to "BUZZ-IN"
  • After a set limit…..the team with the most points wins.
  • Prizes will be decided at event.
  • No tantrums or spoilsports allowed. We will kick you out if you're disturbing the game
  • We reserve the right to change the rules up until the time of Gameplay.
