Didn't the New Yorkers post some things about taking over Philly for the Spectrum shows????
I am sure there are Philly people that got shut out from the last shows in "their" Spectrum.
So when others want to visit NYC, its not ok.

Ya know what pisses me off the most is that I live an hour fucking away from msg and got shutout cause of a piss poor server. What really pisses me more off is people from all over this fucking world got tix but tons of local people got shutout. I'd like to know just how many true new yawkers got tix. I'm talking people that worn born or raised here. If this happens next tour I'm done with buying tickets from the 10c and will get em from ticketmaster or a ticket broker. Least those servers won't crash and I won't get a temporarily out of stock for 4 hours. Also can ed stop with the hometown show act cause we all know that isn't true anymore. Its so fake to hear 20,000 people clap and cheer for that when 70% of MSG is out of towniers.

    End rant

Kinda funny how you give people grief all day about the ridiculous threads, and then you start one of your own.

Thanks for the laughs people. Ill be laughing when I'm front row and there aint a damn thing anyone can do bout it on here. Yea I do have a few hookups but I feel its wrong of me to use them. So now just maybe I might just use them and be front row. Thanks for the laughs people as I sit here eating my green bagles and drinking my green guinness.

funny guy....you go on a rant about having a right to be a show, being pissed that people are taking your chance, being pissed that these people are not new yorkers, yet you still manage to keep on the moral high ground and not use your hook ups...

    you are fucking hilarious.

They did not do this. their darnest would've been setting up a better system. they did not

I'm not trying to pick on you man, but we don't KNOW anything about the club's finances or computer infrastructure. We, as 10c members, have no insight into their inner workings. The most "unfair" thing here is that we on this board trash the 10c every time there is a problem with online ticket sales or we get inconvenient tour dates or our x-mas single is late. Maybe they did do their absolute best and were constrained by powers they cannot fight, such as venue owners or massive ticket conglomerates or maybe one of the 10c staff's kids has cancer and they diverted some money to help them out rather than invest in some cloud computing. My point is we don't know, so we shouldn't judge so harshly.

As for the charity thing, yeah... it's not charity if we are don't choose to donate. That's a little uncool. I would be happier if the 3rd row was a charity raffle, or something along those lines.

I just don't understand how it's 10 club's fault that demand is greater than the supply. Maybe you guys should hit up the Madison Square Garden forums?

Haha how childish of you. Who cares if you sit in the front row? If you won't sit there somebody else will and I'm pretty sure noone on here gives a damn about if it's you or not. You should be happy that PJ plays that often in your town. I know for sure that they will never play in my hometown and thats why I'm going to travel around the world in order to see them. And yes, in contrast to you I have tickets to both shows and I will enjoy them even if you don't want me to be there. Have a nice day 8-)

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

how about being grateful that you have a computer and funds to try and buy tickets to see a rock band ! In Burma more then 4 poeple meeting up together is illegal and if you wish to stay the night at a friends house you must first inform the police or you will be arrested at any given moment

here's 10c's response to that...very mature on their part to basically slap the customer in the face.

"We are sorry you were unable to get tickets to the Boston show. Due to supply and demand we never guarantee tickets to all fan club members. As you can see all the tickets from yesterdays pre-sale are still on the site. There are difficult markets, and not so difficult markets so your situation is specific to the show you want to go to, and not a money making scheme. Boston, NY, and DC will all be this way due to the volume of tickets versus number of fans. There’s not a whole lot we can do about that. The server did not crash. Having more fans logged in than tickets available causes a bottleneck at the door.

We apologize that you live in an area of the country where this is the ticket sale norm and understand if you’d rather not renew and buy your tickets through Ticketmaster’s service only.

    -10c "

really you have a problem with this? they have clearly answered the questions asked - and tried to explain what the problem was....and told you not to renew if you dont feel satisfied.

In a nutshell....what is wrong with this? Is it because they didnt climb down and hand you the lottery tickets as compensation?

really it baffles me , what do people really expect?

were talking here one of the worlds finest live bands - carrying that title around with you will only ever increase the publics desire to see them , Not many bands will put on the show Pj will.....if any at all....so of course we all wanna see it. its really not rocket science

I expected most of the complaining and entitlement to come from the NYC shows. Happens every time. Whether its presale tickets, poster debacles, you name it. Just comes with the culture there.
