Exactly. I've had the Dan McCarthy sub in the paypal box a couple of times too.

its the thing that costs $300

I gave it a go, my first print sub ... they make a compelling arguement ... $25 per print (incl. shipping) for 12 prints from that lineup of artists ... and only a run of 150 on each.

There are bound to be some gems in there.

Yeah, but this one is from a variety of artists. Better odds of getting at least a few winners. I pulled the trigger.

It's my first sub and my first poster purchase in a while. Looking forward to my first Rob Jones, Daniel Danger, Jermaine Rodgers and Punchgut. Others I either already have prints by and love (King, Hampton, Klausen) or are not really familiar with but excited to see.

If you wanted a poster so bad, then you should have purchased an airplane ticket and a $35 dollar Bumbershoot ticket, Rented a car and hotel to obtain them.We know a guy that flew out from Michigan just for Flatstock, he spent over $500 dollars in expenses plus whatever he spent on his posters, not once did I hear him bitching about how much he had to spend to obtain his posters. stop your freaking complaining, you have no idea what happened at Flatstock, And the person that Brad was talking about "paying kids to buy posters" was not Seattlebatman. It was a guy infront of him he had 4 kids that he brought to get the multiples. I mean honestly your pissed because you don't have some of those posters, and you cannot afford or don't want to pay the steep secondary market prices. I am the mother of those daughters you keep mentioning. And I can assure all of you that they were not paid to get posters, they were looking forward to the show, they also like seeing Brad, and they love Brad's work. Our oldest daughter has posters of her own, and both of the girls have numerous PJ prints framed on their bedroom walls, the oldest had written several papers on Eddie and turned them in for school projects, the youngest loves Jeff, You do not know our family therefore you have no right to judge. I cannot believe that you have nothing better to do with your time than sit on the message pit talking trash about people you do not know. You have no idea what it means to be a "collector" Seattebatman has collected more than 400 posters over the years, most of them Pearl Jam. He did not make up his expressobeans collection, it's the real deal. Most of you have no idea the dedication it takes to have a collection like that.

He has more than one Vic since we both went, and we have 4 lolla since we took the kids, So actually I am selling mine it's not his. And We have three Benaroya, I am pretty sure we don't need all of them.

    Grow up
  • this thread and some that are in it are stupid.

  • i don't feel like i need to respond to his wife, but...

the fact is lady, bruce wayne, i mean, seattlebatman brought your kids so he could buy extra klausen prints. the next day he lists them on ebay for sale. no matter how you try to spin it or say what a huge fan he is, most people think that is bullshit.

if you took the time to read the post from brad, you would see it is people like this that are pissing him off. if he really does decide to stop designing pearl jam concert posters, it is people like your husband that have apparently soured him from doing so.

he's also selling a benaroya lp if anyone is interested in that.
  • Don't get bostonlou's thread shut down. Please !!!

One would think that if you didn't need all of these, you wouldn't have bought them in the first place, unless you knew you were just going to sell them for profit. But hey, that's probably too logical....

Your husband is probably also the guy I saw paying kids $5 to stand in line and buy extra Lolla posters....

Does anyone else find it kind of funny that with all this talk of Seattlebatman and his kids and how proud he is of them that if you look on his myspace page under kids it says love them but not for me?

You know I asked myself the same thing. This site sells posters above original price. And Brad is doing a art print for them (with all do respect Mr. Klausen)
