    Weird, so do I, exactly.

I'm currently a manager in the NHS - being made redundant next year.

My other half's currently a paid subtitler and an unpaid writer!

I'm trying to sell one of his recent scripts - so if anyone works for a production company and is interested in taking a look at a very good (even if I do say so myself!) comedy script - 6 half hour episodes, drop me a line! :)

Not sure what I'll do next year. Fell in love with San Francisco a couple of years ago so will probably spend a month or so over there travelling around the neighbouring states - we'd love to move stateside at some point in our lives and run our own business - the sooner the better!

My ideal job - changes month to month, there are way too many cool possibilities out there for me to choose just one thing- currently doing a photography course and would love to be able to sell my pictures.

I am waiting to hear about my application to the Wishlist Foundation (finger's crossed), although it's a volunteer post so will still need to do something else to pay the bills!

My boyfriend's ideal job - writer/games quality assurance person.

  • I'm in my 4th year of economics grad school focusing on financial econometrics and game theory. Right now, I'm spending all of my time working on my dissertation (read, surfing the web or the waves).

Before going to grad school, I was a financial analyst for a software company doing accounting, reporting, and systems stuff. I kept this up for the first few years of grad school remotely, but then just let it go as I accumulated too many research gigs (running numbers for banks and what not).

My dream job after school is to teach at a business school while doing financial/statistical consulting on the side. That's basically what I'm doing now, except that I'd get paid a lot more once I get my degree.
Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash and I’m
delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.
  • Financial advisor, I work with the manager so I do recruiting too.

Officially unemployed as of yesterday, because the day before I suggested to my boss that he himself drive that prime mover from now on and while he was at it he might like to drive it up his own backside.

    With a lot less decorum.

I have just bought a boat and had planned to be on holidays anyway, between Oct 25 and Dec 3.

After that, at this point in time, full time stay home dad on a social security benefit sounds attractive. My boys have been doing too much bringing themselves up of late.

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.

  • I am currently a student at THE University of Missouri Kansas City, working on a degree in Art History.

I plan to go to grad school, so if any knows of any great grad schools for Art History, shoot them my way.

My current job is in a hazardous waste disposal facility. (It's not as bad as you think.)

My biggest accomplishment so far was when I was one of the lucky few to score tickets to the VIC show!
