I think I am living your past ... accounting ... lots of office politics ... the fun never ends! :)

I *hate* office politics. I would go home with a headache almost everyday...and occasionally cry at work when things were really bad. Now I get hugs on a daily basis. I get two help raise 2 (almost 3) amazing kids...seeing them grow, develop and learn every day. Who could ask for more?! :D

P.S. Even my worst days with the kids are better than average days in an office!!

i did my dream job for, well, years, far too long really, in the production department of a big educational publisher. i loved it, it was super busy - and being a print buyer has excellent perks.

before that i was a graphic designer - at one point having poster wars with myself coz i ended up working for so many different clubs/bands - fun times, never had to pay to get in to the local venues...i guess that was a dream job too but it didn't pay so well.

these days i hang out with my little boy and my husband, and go surfing when there's a wave - truely my dream job!

and now i have time to waste in the pit - i'm not sure if that's a good thing tho:)

:) I'd love to help but most customers deal with their own print.... and that's the way I like it.

I'm a corporate jet pilot for a medium sized charter company. My dream is to one day land in BFI and take the band somewhere. Or even on a tour but I don't think they would use a private jet on a US tour.

I work in Retail.......next month will be 19 years w/ the local supermarket chain. My only complaint about the job is the rudeness of the customers,if your in the store shopping....do you really need to be on your cell phone the entire time? The next motherf*cker that runs into me w/ their cart because they are on the phone not paying attention.....I think I'll snatch their phone from their hands and smash it. Whew......just had to get that off my chest.

Any of you New Englanders shop @ Stop&Shop?

What a great thread - so many interesting people on here.

I work in a county court helping pro-se parties with filings (restraining orders, evictions, etc).

Dream job would be to own a book store/trade. A place that people could come in and relax, listen to music, do some reading, just have some down time. I always picture this place smelling like coffee, Pearl Jam on the speakers, the walls covered in great art from local artists. Oh, and we don't open until 11 am :)

    Porn Star.

Best part about being in porn, once your in, your instantly a star. Ever heard of a porn amature? I didn't think so.

OK, I'm not really a porn star. I'm a porn amature. On the side, I own a freight forwarding company (import/export/logistics, all that stuff)
