    no reason not to play at least a show while making the trip to the east coast. seems like it would be a lot of fossil fuels spent for 10 min on SNL. I say a fanclub only show like the old days while they are in NY!!

    I'll go out on a hunch and say Matt Damon hosts because Green Zone opens on 3/12. Has Damon even hosted before? They can bring Affleck on w/him to do a skit, as Affleck is this generations Alec Baldwin in terms of SNL appearances (maybe not as many, but quite a few).

    A live, taped rehearsal is done a few hours before the actual performance. Then the audience is swapped out for the real performance. It would be funny to finally see a band member be part of the skit (though technically they did during the opening monologue with Sharon Stone in '92).

    I love it.....one little 3 song set and it's like a bone to a hungry pack of dogs.....although I agree that flying all the way to NY for one show would be a waste of some good fossil fuel-you lucky east coasters :roll: How about a warm up show in Missoula guys, its been 4 1/2 years already!
