I will not be watching any more St. John's this year after that debacle in Rutgers.

The kid from Providence made it on SportsCenter top 10 plays last night. Oh yeah, they got smacked by Syracuse as well.

Record crowd to see Orange host Villanova

    Associated Press

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Feb. 27 game between No. 2 Villanova and third-ranked Syracuse is officially a sellout and will break the Orange's NCAA record for the largest on-campus crowd to see a college basketball game.
School officials said yesterday that 34,616 tickets had been sold for the night game in the Carrier Dome.

The current record also was set against Villanova, when 33,633 turned out March 5, 2006, to see the final home game of Orange star Gerry McNamara.

I'm not one for being impatient with firing coaches, but after today's disgrace at MSG against West Virginia, Norm Roberts must be fired after this season.

don't be bitter, this is just a down year for the huskies. As a St. John's alum, we've had a down decade with the Redmen.

Syracuse is a 'shoe in' for the Big East title this year. Nova has nothing and can't compete.

I thought Uconn was gonna pull it out
I think they would have if Calhoun was there

Nova and Cuse pulling away from the rest of the BE pack

Although Cuse and Nova are the leaders of the pack, I wouldnt count out Georgetown. Remember, Nova wasn't the best team in the conference last year and they almost won the national title. Still a lot of hoops left.

no offense to my main man xman, but reading this thread, my posts in it, and my team, make me want to puke.

    that said,

there's a LOT of hoops to be played. and no one gives a shit about the regular season title. who cares. unless you win the title in MSG, it doesn't matter. i just hope we make it in.

this could be the first year in a LONG TIME NC and UCONN dont make it to the big dance

And G'town is good. But they lack depth.

point on with all counts there.

g town could go very deep...but if they encounter foul trouble of any kind, they're screwed.

Hmm I hope you mean both UNC and UCONN together might not make it. UConn didn't make it Dyson's first year.

My Cardinals just handed the Cuse a nice loss today! Finally got that signature win, and hopefully back in the tourney!

I saw that. Nice win. The more Big East teams that make the dance the better, I think.

Tough loss for Syracuse. Usually, they're better in the second half but not today.

Go Cardinals, and put some credibility back to UNLV's victory over Louisville. My Rebels are limping in a little bit and may be on the bubble at the end of the season.

UCONN with the upset! I have a very slim hope that they'll be able to win out the rest of the regular season, but I still doubt it.

puts SU and Nova back in a tie

With this win, UConn has to win the rest of their games this season and either a.) get far in the Big East tourney or b.) win the Big East tourney to get the automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament.
