Any M's fan half conscious this off season has got to be quite stoked, and extremely happy still with the work Jack Z. is doing!!!

Chone Figgins, Cliff Lee, Milton Bradley, Brandon League, Casey Kotchman, about to sign Guti for a long term deal. Jr is back for another year.

We should have some of the best infield and outfield defense in the league and one of the best 1-2 punches in pitching rotations with King Felix and Cliff Lee!!

I know we are just entering the NFL playoffs, but I am very excited for Spring Training and the start of the 2010 MLB season!!!

Uh oh, Angles, the M's are back!! Better watch out, we're taking the AL West back this year!!!

Go M's!!!

I think not only are we stacking the deck for this season to make a serious run at it, but also stacking the club to be a long-term contender.

Well, you make a fine point, jimed14. I am hoping Griffey can tame that beast and help keep Bradley on a positive note. There is no denying his talent. He's just can be kind of a mental patient at times, I know.

If the M's take every game from Oakland, I'll be one happy mofo.

Bradley was on his best behavior while with the Rangers. I wish they had him back.

Hopefully he repeats that in Seattle with Junior as his mentor.

Congratulations to Gutierrez on his four-year deal for $20.5 million, with an option for a fifth!! Love the fact we locked him into a long term deal. His defense in CF last year was up there with Cammy and Jr.

I'm getting excited to see how the AL West turns out this year. Bunch of things happening to the Angels that should make it easier. Vlad just went to the Rangers, so there's another shake up.

Looks like the A's will be bringing up the rear again this year.

    I say it goes:

    M's
    Angles
    Rangers
    A's

    Go M's!!!

    King Felix stays with Mariners

The Seattle Mariners have been shuffling the deck, but it looks like they'll keep their ace.

On the eve of exchanging salary figures for arbitration, right-hander Felix Hernandez has agreed to a multiyear contract with the team, pending a physical, a source with direct knowledge of the talks told ESPN.com's Keith Law on Monday.

The amount or length of the deal were not immediately available.

Hernandez made a case for a big payday with a 19-5 record and a 2.46 ERA in 2009. He had earned $3.8 million in his first year of arbitration eligibility.

The Mariners signed free-agent infielder Chone Figgins, traded for Milton Bradley and re-signed outfielders Franklin Gutierrez and Ken Griffey Jr. in a slew of offseason moves.
