Me too, but I'll be listening to Channel 24 on Fridays.....I can't stand Master Tape Theatre!
  • pissed on my plate...swallowed that fucker down.

    Heard those words sung live.

    RVM.

My radio actually has "Artist Alert" when they'll tell you ANY time a certain artist is playing. I have a feeling it'll go batshit crazy. :D

Now some meatpuppets. I didn't realize that was their song.

  • Oh hell yeah. I was unaware, but I was wondering why my Sirius said "Updating" this morning when I turned it on.

I will check this out today on my way home!

The Who channel also has changed to channel 29 which is apparently becoming a punk channel. I've also heard talk about a "rotating artist" channel. ;) Who knows, time will tell.

Yeah. A while ago, Disorder was playing Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns, followed by a PJ song, followed by some other similar song. That doesn't even come close to this new channel.

*hopes to hear Mother Love Bone or Green River, or who knows what else on here.*

Did March of Crimes ever release anything?

I sent a comment to Sirius customer care expressing my approval of the new channel. If you like it as much as I do so far, I think it would be good to do that so they get the message that we like it!

  • Hey--a fellow collegeville native. how goes it? i moved here from blue bell a little over a year ago....and there's nothing to do here!!---but its a lil less expensive, so ill drive a little to have a good time. :)

there isn't much to do, unless you golf. There's plenty of courses in the area. town is kind of dead even though ursinus college is right there. conshy or manayunk for the single crowd.

housing is cheaper out there and even cheaper the further west you go, but since i commute into bala cynwyd there's a fine line where i would loose my sanity with that commute. I will say since i got sirius i don't realize sitting in traffic for an hour and a half.

Where abouts in c'ville are you? work or school in the area?
I'll scream my lungs out...'til I fill this thread!

Yeah Master Tape Theater needs to stop. Although I gotta admit the Gary Beusey interview on Friday was hilarious.

It'd be about time for Sirius to have a punk channel. The only advantage XM has is that they have a punk channel and Sirius doesn't. Sure "Faction 28" plays punk occassionally but then I'll hear Bouncing Souls followed by Deftones... ugh change that station.

it seems there are no DJs on this station so hopefully and i remember...when i first got sirius in 2005 ... Dave Grohl would guest host some stations..and Jack Black and I remember JOhn Mayer and kelly slater would come on some channels and play what they wanted and talk for like 5 hours...they need to get that going again...get pearl jam in ther to play there selections!!

    channel 199 is good sometimes..lol
  • Just got back from lunch and in the 4 songs I heard "Black" was one of them. I like those odds of PJ in this.

The rest I was of course on Stern 100. Howard announced his engagement!

This is pretty much my selection too. You can add Howard 100 and 101 and "The Bridge" for certain moods I get in, plus sometimes when I want to straight chill out, I listen to the jazz stations.

Yeah, I was just thinking that it is bringing me back to college and law school -- when I had no fucking worries except taking exams and where to buy my burrito for dinner.

We're doing a lot of advertising for this station. But seriously, I don't think I have heard a bad song yet in the last couple hours.
