Seniority Seating Change - They nailed it

I think the decision to have rows 1-2 and 9-10 be random is the perfect move. Now EVERYONE will have the opportunity to sit close to the stage and no matter what your number, the most your seats will be affected is 4 rows.
For those of you who will complain about this, saying "being in the club since 1994, I deserve to be in the front", I think you have gotten your loyalty reward over the years by being so close. You will still be extremely close, possibly even in the first 2 rows, but now some of the people who may have caught on to the band a few years late will also get the shot.

It's a great move, I have always been for seniority, and to me, this doesn't effect it one bit. 4 rows is not a big deal and it will get the front fresh for the guys."Fuck the talkin', let's start rocking." - E.V. 9-5-00

Agreed. I have been in since 94, so I have a decent number. I think this is a very good compromise. moving back just a few rows is not a big deal. Plus, I could end up in the front which has never happened. I hope all the debate can finally stop.0

been a member for over 10 yrs and I don't mind the change...I just hope 10c has an ample amount of tix for us all....I don't expect a fan club show, but I think we deserve more that 1000 seats. But I guess that is up to people other than the 10c....0
-
I completely agree. Great move by the 10c. Hopefully, we'll see more energy in the first couple rows for this tour.0

Who's saying that? You can add me to the chorus of long-time 10-Clubbers saying this is a good move. I'm eternally grateful for my good seats and thrilled to share the wealth."They said ... timing was everything
made him ... want to be everywhere
there's a ... lot to be said for nowhere."0 -

Yeah, i'm 86xxx and I think that is very fair. Nice move 10C!“I know this song so well, I can smoke a cigarette, have a drink, brush my teeth, take a shit, and mow the lawn while singing it. But I'll only be doing a couple of those things during this version.”0

Does anyone know roughly how many 10c seats there will be from each show?

It's awesome. They did it perfectly this time. And for the few people it affects, it won't affect them much. By contrast, it gives EVERYONE ELSE a chance to get a golden ticket.San Diego 10/25/00, Mountain View 6/1/03, Santa Barbara 10/28/03, Northwest School 3/18/05, San Diego 7/7/06, Los Angeles 7/9/06, 7/10/06, Honolulu (U2) 12/9/06, Santa Barbara (EV) 4/10/08, Los Angeles (EV) 4/12/08, Hartford 6/27/08, Mansfield 6/28/08, VH1 Rock Honors The Who 7/12/08, Seattle 9/21/09, Universal City 9/30/09, 10/1/09, 10/6/09, 10/7/09, San Diego 10/9/09, Los Angeles (EV) 7/8/11, Santa Barbara (EV) 7/9/11, Chicago 7/19/13, San Diego 11/21/13, Los Angeles 11/23/13, 11/24/13, Oakland 11/26/13, Chicago 8/22/16, Missoula 8/13/18, Boston 9/2/18, Los Angeles 2/25/22 (EV), San Diego 5/3/22, Los Angeles 5/6/22, 5/7/22, Imola 6/25/22, Los Angeles 5/21/24, [London 6/29/24], [Boston 9/15/24]0

I'm several minutes behind reading all the news. Can you show me where you found this policy change?
I think it's a great idea, but I'd like to see it print for myself. Thanks!

They love us all equally!0
-
it should go by what year you were in the club but, if they wanna do something nice for others i guess its ok. so it means people with new numbers will get like 1 row?0
-
I recall mentioning this exact idea before, not that the stole it from me but if I can up with it, it must have been obvious.
One other note, hopefully all tickets aren't in random draw for 9&10, it would suck to have a low number that would have gotten you third row and get random draw for 10th row.0 -
I won't be going to any of the latest dates, but my hat is off to the 10c for the new random rows. I think it is great!!!Indy 2000

As Eddie said at Albany in '06...something like this: "I see the same guys in front of me at every single show". It's a nice shakeup from the usual, as Eddie won't be seeing the same faces w/ the best seats! Hopefully, he'll be seeing mine!0

See... the long time members aren't bitching... they are happy. They already know what it's like to walk closer and closer and closer to the stage and find their seat way up there. They want others to share in that feeling... and it gives everyone the **Hope** that they will win big.
