Seniority Seating Change - They nailed it

I think the decision to have rows 1-2 and 9-10 be random is the perfect move. Now EVERYONE will have the opportunity to sit close to the stage and no matter what your number, the most your seats will be affected is 4 rows.

For those of you who will complain about this, saying "being in the club since 1994, I deserve to be in the front", I think you have gotten your loyalty reward over the years by being so close. You will still be extremely close, possibly even in the first 2 rows, but now some of the people who may have caught on to the band a few years late will also get the shot.

It's a great move, I have always been for seniority, and to me, this doesn't effect it one bit. 4 rows is not a big deal and it will get the front fresh for the guys.

  • Agreed. I have been in since 94, so I have a decent number. I think this is a very good compromise. moving back just a few rows is not a big deal. Plus, I could end up in the front which has never happened. I hope all the debate can finally stop.
  • been a member for over 10 yrs and I don't mind the change...I just hope 10c has an ample amount of tix for us all....I don't expect a fan club show, but I think we deserve more that 1000 seats. But I guess that is up to people other than the 10c....

I completely agree. Great move by the 10c. Hopefully, we'll see more energy in the first couple rows for this tour.

Who's saying that? You can add me to the chorus of long-time 10-Clubbers saying this is a good move. I'm eternally grateful for my good seats and thrilled to share the wealth.

It's awesome. They did it perfectly this time. And for the few people it affects, it won't affect them much. By contrast, it gives EVERYONE ELSE a chance to get a golden ticket.

it should go by what year you were in the club but, if they wanna do something nice for others i guess its ok. so it means people with new numbers will get like 1 row?
  • I recall mentioning this exact idea before, not that the stole it from me but if I can up with it, it must have been obvious.

One other note, hopefully all tickets aren't in random draw for 9&10, it would suck to have a low number that would have gotten you third row and get random draw for 10th row.

As Eddie said at Albany in '06...something like this: "I see the same guys in front of me at every single show". It's a nice shakeup from the usual, as Eddie won't be seeing the same faces w/ the best seats! Hopefully, he'll be seeing mine! :)

my understanding of it is 10% of the venue capacity is the maximum allowed for any fanclub to have. so obviously, entirely dependent on the size of each venue. bottomline though...definitely not enough, especially in places like MSG. it sucks to think i could get shut out of 10c tix for my hometown show...but nada 10c can do about it. just have to remain hopeful! :)

    *edit - nvmd.

Tickets will be allocated by seniority within the Ten Club, meaning the
longer you have been an active member, the closer your seats will be to the
stage. However, for this tour, we are implementing a slight change - rows
1-2 and rows 9-10 will now be RANDOM distribution. This means regardless of your member number you will have a chance of occupying seats within those random rows. We thank all of our diligent, loyal fans for accepting this
change gracefully. Please share the love.

  • Great idea by the 10C. Seeing PJ from those seats is an unbelievable experience, and something that all people who care about this band should at least have the opportunity to experience.

No need to have the same people up there every show.

And they came up with a way to not completely fuck over the people who would inevitably whine about this... well done 10C
