DCFaithful, my head would explode if I ever went to a Black Crowes / Pearl Jam show... That would be a dream...

Indeed, many great things would come of such a concert.

Yeah, the Tall session recordings on Lost Crowes are great. I prefer that version of Evil Eye to the one on Three Snakes. God damn, this band just kicks major ass. 3 days until I Freak N Roll...

    Don't forget Lifevest!!!

For those of you who've seen them on this tour...do they have their backing singers (the ladies) and the horn section?? Just curious...I imagine they might since they've been playing songs like Sting Me and (Only) Halfway To Everywhere.

I couldn't remember their names, but cool...I always dig their backing vocals. Too bad no horns...maybe lowers my chances of hearing Welcome To The Goodtimes...meh, I'll still be stoked to be there and hear so many other good songs...really hoping for these though:

    Sting Me
    Seeing Things
    Sometimes Salvation
    Good Morning Captain
    Nonfiction
    My Morning Song
    No Speak No Slave
    A Conspiracy
    Whoa Mule
    Wounded Bird
    Good Friday

My god, can they just come out and play the entire catalog? One other curious question...is their an opening act for this tour? The ads here in SLC say "An evening with The Black Crowes". Last time I saw them the ticket said the same thing and it was just them, no opening band.

I got Salvation, Good Friday, Conspiracy and GMC here... GMC has been a pretty regular opener for them this tour, as it was in Orlando.

The ticket in Orlando was "An evening with..." as well, but Truth & Salvage Co opened. Good southern band, great group harmony vocals, but about midway through their set, I was wishing it was the end of their set.

I would have preferred "An evening with..." and gotten a few more BC songs, but oh well... Next time...
ENJOY and post the setlist when you get home!!!

I've noticed on crowesbase.com that GMC has become a consistent opener, it'll be nice to hear it. An opening band is fun, but I know exactly what you mean...sometimes you just want the main act! Never heard Truth & Salvage Co., but on a side note I did check out Luther's band The North Mississippi All-Stars today and I really liked what I heard.

I'll post the setlist without a doubt! There might be some songs I dont' remember though :D, for accuracy be sure to stop in at crowesbase.com

Good Morning Captain makes a great opener.

And I really enjoyed Truth and Salvage Co. One of the better, if not the best, opening acts the Crowes have had in years. If you like the Crowes, they are a lot like them.

Here's the setlist from the other night in St Louis. Maybe the best I've ever seen them. I found a nice spot about 4 people back right in front of the bass drum, dead centered to both guitarists. Ended up being a worse spot than I thought it would be, b/c I couldn't decide which guitarist to watch.

    Good Morning Captain ->-
    Stare It Cold
    Space Captain
Make Glad-Luther's solo here was the highlight of the night
    Appaloosa
    Little Lizzie Mae
    Ozone Mama
I Ain't Hiding-love the song on the album, it's better live
    Ballad In Urgency ->
Wiser Time- they really seemed to have found a good groove on the jam for this
And The Band Played On ->
    She Gave Good Sunflower
Been A Long Time (Waiting On Love)
    Wounded Bird
    - encore -
    Remedy

Truth and Salvage Co. were a pretty good opener. If you really dig the Crowes, you'll be able to appreciate them.

yeah, that's a great setlist, with Stare It Cold in there early...

my favorite Crowes opener was The Jayhawks in 93, just FYI... agree that Truth and Salvage Co is right up a standard Crowes fan's alley, but was just saying I'd have preferred more TBC instead...

I bought a tour shirt and a poster and it was $55 bucks. Pretty sure the shirt was $30, but not positive. Had four 24oz Sierra Nevada's before I made it to the merch stand!

BTW- Whoa Mule was awesome live, and Truth & Salvage were great too, IMO.
