Oh yeah, and this Mike McCready guy? Pretty damn good also.He owned the stage as always.
It was nice to see Down, Save You, and Inside Job make the set list.
Can't wait for tomorrow.

What about Amongst The Waves!? That song had me going nuts.
The band sounded incredible..Off he Goes was absolutely beautiful.
The new backdrops are awesome
The video of this song is fuckin great! I love this song and I can't help but picture the crowd with their arms raised during the chorus.Seeing visions of falling up somehow.

BH55371 wrote:First off....Pearl Jam played well and the new songs were killer. I enjoyed hearing Unthought Known live. Eddie's comment about backing President Obama's statement of Kanye West being a Jackass was hilarious. I thought the sound was off all night because it seemed like they couldn't find the right mix with Eddie's voice mix or Mike's guitar work. I believe they could have turned up the volume too. I was also sitting by fans who only stood up for ten-vitalogy era songs and didn't know anything off of Backspacer or Self-titled. So, I guess I might have been expecting too much from the Seattle crowd, but damn.... it was the worst crowd that I've seen at a Pearl Jam show and this would be my 12th show seeing them across the country. The Tampa and W. Palm Beach crowds last year absolutely slaughtered this Seattle crowd.
Pearl Jam looked like they were having fun, but you could tell the bad crowd was affecting them. Let's go Seattle!!!! Here's for a great 2nd show.
I know this is late but....I could not agree with you more! Worst PJ crowd I've ever seen and I've been following them since the get go. And I'm from Seattle, so I've seen them there quite a bit! My sense was that there were just way too many friends and guests in floor seats.0 -

Just listened to this boot again. Haven't listened in about a week. It is FANTASTIC. The crowd was a little quiet, but I wonder if the sound in the Keyarena had anything to do with it. Sure seemed louder in person. No matter, the setlist and performance by the band were 5-star. These 2 shows are really under-rated.Boston II 94 Boston II 06 Mansfield I 08 Mansfield II 08 Seattle I 09 Seattle II 09

These shows are extremely underrated. I can feel the energy of the band through the bootlegs...I could careless about the crowd. Great sets, great perfirmances0

I just listened too it again, too. I loved it that night and I loved it again today. Particularly good in that my wife is not quite so hardcore as meand she really enjoyed it. Maybe not a ton of rarities but a very, very good show!

This one brings back great memories. Great point about just 4 repeats and they're to be expected with a new album that came out the day before. Our first full shows after seeing the U2/Honolulu show in 2006. Joined the Fanclub in early 2007 and got Seattle tickets with ease. Some of the best tickets we'd ever had to that point. Stone side N1, Mike's side N2. We love Seattle and had booked a 3 night getaway built around N1 only(so my wife thought) however after walking around extensively the next day, I suggested we go back up to the Seattle Center grounds area then to check in on the N2 vibe around Key. After hanging there for a bit I told my wife the news that we were going to both shows. Not that I was there for the covers we're big Who fans so those Who covers were fantastic with the brass.0
