    I don't want to overspeculate but..

    IF the annoucement is Bonaroo (and not a book), why is a southern mini tour out of the question?

    They are going to get the crew and the gear together and fly them down there, feed them , pay per diem, etc for ONE show?

    particularly for one show in an area where there has been so much flak for not playing.

    they won't played together in a year.

    perhaps they want to get the creative juices going before heading into the studio.

    ed has often said that songs have been written in hotel rooms on tour.

    PLEASE don't flame me for dreaming big.

    Assuming all the speculation is correct about them playing Bonnaroo, there will not be 10 Club tickets because it is a festival.

    Agreed, but the TWEET usually begins with "a little birdy told me that now is a good time to make sure your membership is blah, blah, blah,...insinuating that you will need a tenclub # for this "special" news coming up.....me thinks Bonnaroo may be the only news on our horizons, hence no need for a tenclub # to buy tickets for the show......

    Last time they urged us to make sure our memberships were renewed, people whined afterwards because the announcement made shortly thereafter had no value to them.

    not so much any more...they played on a fucking "at&t" stage at lolla, for fucks sake! gone are the days when the boys would refuse to play because of a dodge ram banner hanging in a venue (see LA 2000, or pretty much any show before that).

    I'll hold off on buying tickets for a couple months...You never know, they could announce a tour and then I could get about three pearl jam tickets for the same price of one =)

    its impossible for PJ to play venues without corporate sponsers dude, there is no way, I could care less anyway, I'm not looking at a viagra billboard while PJ's rocking out

    I bet this is an announcement for another "vote for change" themed tour. Pearl Jam will probably just tour around the US promoting Obama. Politics or not, it'd be sweet to them here in the North East again.
