I'll say this, I've known John Mayer for about 20 years, we grew up together in CT and he's allowed me to see many great shows and meet some amazing artists.

One thing that I never thought I'd see in a million years is his name up against Eddie, Neil, Bruce and McCartney for a Grammy. Just a very strange feeling. Gravity is a great song though.

no i was referring to the dumb ass statements. but anyways if John Mayer showed up at a PJ show you'd prob be the first here to proclaim how wonderful it was. He's a world class musician who is nominated for an award (sort of, it's only a Grammy) with 4 other world class musicians. You originally said: "which one of them doesn't belong with the others?" And later clarified it was John Mayer, just saying you're an ignorant douche is all, have a good night;)

By the way, John is a big Pearl Jam fan, if you ever hear some of his high school demos (his band was called Villanova Junction), some people think that he's trying to sing like Eddie.

His favorite PJ album is "No Code"......just for the record.
