I think the east is a little out of their reach at this point, not impossible, but, certainly not easy.

    I'll take this scenario ...

    Win the wildcard.

    Beat the Angels
    Beat the Yankees
    Beat the Cardinals

If Beckett keeps giving up 5 plus runs it will be a short exit, even if we are lucky enough to squeak into the playoffs.

The Sox aren't squeaking into the playoffs. Their current odds to make the playoffs going into tonight are 82.5%.

I dislike to assume anything when it comes to the Red Sox however it sure would nice to steal this game from the Rays.

I guess it's more of are they a hot team rolling in or are they playing ok ball, and making it in based on a killer 1st half.

Now I think we have had a nice 15 game stretch recently, so it's not all bad, but if Beckett continues to struggle then we will have a hard time winning a series.

Now with that said, he picked it up during tonight's game, but dug a huge hole early.

Really would like to steal this one tonight.

  • Well considering we tied it in the top of the 8th now we're down 3 it ain't looking well at all.

We've always as past years had trouble with the Rays.

And I couldn't find it anywhere online.

Damn, my dad saw one on someone and really liked it. My dad is very hard to buy for and I thought it would be perfect if I could get him one.

    oh well. Thanks anyway.
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

Easier said than done in that the NL is so weak compared to the AL. He couldn't keep up with the power of the AL especially the AL East division. He should fare well in NL cause they're not many hitters than are feared compared to the AL.

BTW you're welcome from a Red Sox fan.

his first win came against the phillies, who are pretty fine hitters ... probably better than 3/4 of the AL.

If they want to shorten their precious game, why not take out a commercial or two here and there ... yeah, they'd never do that.

    Ridiculous.

I haven't missed a game in a while and have seen enough of Papelbon that, while he's a wackjob, he isn't that slow to be getting fined like this.

That's good cause I'm going to the the O's/Sox games on the 18th and 19th. It's like a home game cause Camden Yards is filled if not sold out with a majority Red Sox fans.
