    I agree completely. I'll amend the number system soon. I assumed that all members taking part were UK+Irish but I will add a sentence about it to the main post.

    I'm not in need but have been reading through the threads ... you may want to put something in the main thread on The Porch about the cut-off time for the list in case their are some people who were waiting until they were really sure they needed a spare (ie after they had tried the general sale) before adding themselves.

    I'll leave you all alone now ... and fingers crossed for you all :)

    Ames, that is exactly how I would've done the draw. Video is a good idea too - will keep people from complaining if they're not chosen.

    I'm still a Category 7, putting all my eggs in one basket tomorrow!

    Edit: Oh yeah, I'm in favour of a cap on the list too.

    Ames - just catching up with everything you've been doing and want to say well done and thank you. The stupid/bad karma balance of HMV sponsorship and missing out on 10c lottery is resorted with your energies here - like in an advert for egg.com .. or something (what WAS that advert ?!)

    Anyway, I'm glad to be in the list and shall hope against hope for tomorrow .. in the meantime I'd like to propose that Ames, you get the first spare out of the hat for organising all this, the time and effort you've put into it.
