It was brought up in the main thread Shepherds Bush thread in The Porch that we create a random drawing of those with spare tickets to be allocated to those who did not succeed in getting them through any other means.

This thread is designed to match up those who have spares, with those in need, in the fairest way possible.

I have removed the number system that was in place, it doesn't really help anymore, as everyone on the 'wanting tickets' list is now in the same situation

This lottery is designed for 10C members, who tried and failed to get tickets, so after the draw, any buyer of ticket(s) should be able to provide the seller the confirmation email of entering the 10C presale, as well as the HMV, if requested by the seller.

This ticket lottery is, like the official 10C one, open only towards those in the UK and Ireland.

The idea of this lottery is to get tickets in the hands of fans who deserve it for the original price, so all tickets available from sellers are to be at FACE VALUE.

This list is now closed, no more names will be added to it. It has been decided over the course of the thread that closing it after the general sale on Thursday 23rd was the fairest method of allocating the few spares with the numerous fans wanting tickets. Apologies for any disappointment

PLEASE refrain from PMing or begging those with spare tickets directly. Were trying to allot tickets in the fairest way possible.

PLEASE start sending more spares this way, there is currently 3 spare tickets, and 77 fans wanting tickets.

The lottery, at the moment is set to be drawn on Thursday 30th July, a week after the general sale, giving us a week to get spares available

On this date I will write down all of the names on both the 'wanting tickets' and 'have spare tickets' lists, put them in two separate hats/containers/whatever I can find, and pull out at random two names from each hat and match them up. This seems currently to be the fairest method. I will film myself doing it and put it on YouTube to show you all. After this, the sellers and buyers can get in contact with each other and organise a sale/where to meet each other the day of gig.

If you have any ideas/changes to this system please mention them. Please understand I am only trying to help fans.

I think this is a great system and very fair! I have been trying to think of something ever since I suggested the lottery but couldn't devise anything so I take my hat off to you :-) Nice one!

After the email gets sent out tonight, if those I've added to the list start posting the number category they fall into, then it will help to get the system going.

If anyone has any amendments to this idea please feel free to suggest them.

At least this thread is a list of those in need, and those with spares anyway.

If we go ahead with the random draw then we will have to devise a method to fairly randomly draw the spares with those in need, but we can sort that out at a later date.

LOL - but we must remember to take our names OFF the list if we, by some miracle, win the 10c lottery.

How can I add my name to this list of tks wanted? I would need 2 (1 for hubbie). I am in the 10c lottery so fingers crossed for tonight but lucked out this morning with the HMV waste of space presale. I only want seated tickets as I will be 8 months pregnant on August 11th. If I do get lucky in the 10c lottery then I'll be looking to swap with someone who got seats today in the HMV presale who wants standing. What a palarva.

Thanks, this whole idea obviously depends on people sending spares this way, so it would be great if we could get as many of the desperate fans on this list to the gig.
