1. The Vic Chicago 2007 -
Black Diamond/In Hiding / Indifference w/ Ben Harper
The Energy was amazing! (3 rows back center)
I was asked to remove my video clips off Youtube by PJ management- they were sweet by the way!
2. Borgata 2 2005 -
Debut of Gone and Ace Frehley RTFW
The line was bad but we ordered room service and drank wine all day in line.
(Front Row between Stone and Ed- Got killed 2nd row between Mike and Jeff night before)
3. The Gorge / Vancouver Weekend 2005
(met Mike and Matt) The show at the Gorge was a lifetime experience.
12th row with my wife the sun setting... beautiful day.
4. HOB Chicago w/ Robert Plant
Given 2 Fly into Going to California priceless...
About 3rd row between Jeff and Ed. Just a real fun night.
I remember we saw Last Kiss on the set list and we all started chanting no last kiss no last kiss...
Ed was like well you paid good money for these tickets so we'll listen but don't make it a habit...
Mike rolls into Hard 2 Imagine instead... I love that song!
5. Toledo, OH Savage Hall 1996-
My 2nd show ever got tickets literally 10 minutes before show- No Code Tour!
Made it to the front and scored my first pic a Stone- Baby Angel wings yellow pic.
I was living in Cleveland at the time and these tickets were next to impossible to get.
Joined 10 Club the day after this show.
Have to give mention to these 2 - (I think I'm at 42 shows total now?)
6. Grand Rapids, MI 2006
Yes, made out like a bandit. Scored 3rd row- my best ever through fan club.
From the 3rd row between Mike and Jeff my wife scored a Mike pic and I scored a Jeff pic!
7. NW School Show Seattle 2005 - Front Row between Ed & Stone.
Met some great people having some Sushi before the show. "Energy Man" What up Brian!
Got set lists from 3 of the 4 groups performing and at the end Mike put 2 pics in my hand!
2. Buffalo 2003. After the concert my friends and I walked back to the car, got in and just sat for five minutes without saying a word. Made State College feel almost pedestrian (and I say that with great respect to State College).
Blasphemy! Having attended both Buffalo and State College, there is no real comparison..... Buffalo was great, State College was Legendary!
i wasnt even there and i kno State College was legendary....longest show to date back in '03
first cd or bootleg i ever bought of PJ back in '04 and thats where the addiction began
EDIT: can u post a link to the buffalo 03 setlist just so i can compare (i know state college by heart)
To my knowledge, no PJ show has ever been longer than State College. I was at Boston 3 in 2003 also, it does not count. A completely different band played between the 2 sets.
1. 1994 - Fairfax, VA - first time Corduroy was ever played live. Day Cobain was found dead.
2. 2003 - State College
3. 1996 - Randalls Island (2nd night)
4. 2003 - Spectrum - best crowd ever
5. 1995 - Constitution Hall (2nd night) - check out that setlist.
Top 5 ? I have a top eighty - three ! Every PJ show is a fave of mine . I'll probably have a different 5 five minutes from now. There's not a band who comes close for me since the Who circa 73 to 76 or Jimi Hendrix blowing the mind of an eight year old forever and introducing me to rock and roll . But, Since this thread is putting my feet to the fire , here goes nothing :
5. Me and Dirty Frank , Gorge I , 07-22-06
4. Holy Toledo , 10 - 02 - 04
3. Reading VFC - Brain of J, my favorite cover - Gimme Some Truth, Sad ( first time live IIRC ),Masters of War, Soon Forget, and a scorching Bleed for Me. Met Mike for the first time (of six ) and Boom for the first time ( of two).
2. Chicago , 10-05-05 , GREAT cause , Fool In The Rain with Robert Plant, and five feet from the stage. Plus hanging out with the GA crowd in line all day. Awesome folks.
1. The Trocadero, 4/10/92 - I broke my PJ cherry.
"Buy the ticket,take the ride"
Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
"If I wanted you to understand, I would have explained it better"
Johan Cruijff
What a great question and something to think about so I don't have to work!
1. A drop in the park - By far the greatest concert I've ever seen, even Rolling Stone named it one of the top 10 concerts ever. Had to drive back home (Seattle) from Colorado just to go. Chaotic, but worth it and the show was in the same park where you would find the "soundgarden" where the band garnered their name.
2. Lollapalooza '92 - One of my favorites because it was the first time I'd seen 'em in anywhere larger than the Offramp. And hey, the line up wasn't all that shabby! Ice Cube got stopped at the Candien border, was late for the show and pissed! Also, I grew up on Bainbridge Island (some damn good musicians, including Andy Wood came from Bainbridge) and I was buddies with Ben Shepard (Soundgarden bassist) and it was just indescribable to see him on stage playing in front of his home town.
3. Rose Garden 2000 - Only on the list because it was the first time my years of 10c membership had truly paid off with 1st row seats. My girlfriend, at the time, could not have been more impressed.
4. Gorge 2005 - It's been mentioned in earlier posts, this show lasted FOREVER and was freaking awesome. My 10c membership allowed me 6th row seats damn near dead center. HELLO TOM, COME DOWN TOM!
5. Memorial Stadium 1998 both shows - Just rockin live shows with great crowds.
#1 2005 Wachovia Center (illadelph) In a club box with my boy. Wash was the opener and an Unreal setlist, amazing energy, The Crazy MAry moment. It was a three straight mondays of incredible shows ( U2, Rolling Stones and PJ all back to back) I saw them at Borgata the weekend before to.
#2 State College 1991 I was 14 and I was born and raised in Bellefonte(6 miles from State College).I had no idea who PJ was at the time (I was there to see Pumpkins and Chili Peppers) An unbelievable 25 minute set. Coolest part of the show was Eddie in the crowd after the show handing out copies of Ten.
#3 State College 2003 Homecoming for me and the boys That show was legendary. Eddie must have drank 4 bottles of wine.
#4 Camden NJ July 2003 night #2 Played Fuckin' Up which was a first for me live plus I slept with a girl i had been chasing for 4 years after the show.
#5 Mansfield 2008 night #2 The end of the 2008 SummerTour and opened with Wash and so much energy for the last show of the tour. Crowd was amazing and setlist was fantastic. The guy in the Cow Suit on stage at the end was pretty dope and I got to hang out with the girl I slept with after the Camden 2003 show again after not seeing her for almost 4 years
#4 Camden NJ July 2003 night #2 Played Fuckin' Up which was a first for me live plus I slept with a girl i had been chasing for 4 years after the show.
Oh, thats why the fireworks went off after the show.
And I agree, the crowd at Boston night 2 last year was absolutley amazing.

1. London, ON - 2005 - "Off He Goes," "Hard to Imagine," "Oceans," "Black, Red, Yellow." Maybe the best setlist on Canadian soil, ever.
2. Toronto, ON - 1998 - my first.
3. Milan, Ita - 2006 - Entire Avocado album played
4. Torino, Ita - 2006 - "Big Wave," "Leash," and quite possibly the most beautiful "Black" I have ever heard.
5. Calgary, AB - 2009 - "Down," "All Night, "Brother" "The Fixer,"" and "Rats"

2. PJ - State College PA May 03, 2003 (The concert that would never end, best party ever)
3. Ozzy/Metallica April 20th, 1986 Philadelphia Spectrum (Hey I didn't see PJ in the title, this was Master of Puppets tour with Ozzy, great great show)
4. Aerosmith/Guns and Roses Dec 16, 1991 Philadelphia Spectrum (Appetite tour along with Back in the Saddle Tour. Amazing)
5. U2 w/Bruce Springsteen Sept. 25, 1987 Philly JFK Stadium (Many people would say they were there when Bruce drove onto the stage in a Pink Caddy during the Joshua Tree Tour. I was there.)
Philly has had some great ass concerts in my 40 years of existence. I was at Live Aid, that doesn't even make my top 8.
I attended both, too, and I say there's no real comparison either. But seriously, they're both legendary shows; if I'm ever fortunate enough to see Pearl Jam rock a back-to-back like that ever again I'll probably retire from active concertgoing.

#1 Cleveland 2003 - not sure why, but has always been my favorite show. I was on such a concert high afterwards. Lukin into Not For You was amazing. Also, my favorite show poster.
#2 Toledo VFC 2004 - PJ doing Cortez, All Along the Watchtower, etc with Neil was absolutely amazing. Such a memorable night. Especially since it was b/c of my love for Neil Young that I got interested in PJ.
#3 Kitchener 2005 - Great road trip weekend with friends and closest I have ever been to the stage...about 12 rows back.
#4 Bridge School Benefit 1999 - My first time seeing PJ live....absolutely changed my level of interest in the band.
#5 Cleveland 2006 - The only reason that this show made it onto my top 5 was b/c I never expected to laugh so hard at a PJ concert....got to see Stone sing Don't Give Me No Lip...still laugh when I think about it now.
Also, Ed singing F'in Up at end of show was awesome.

Stone Temple Pilots.
My God what a fucking incredible show. Scott is finally free from drugs and they are at the top of their game in very small venues as they get their legs back under them again. I just saw them at the Borgata in AC and they blew us away.
Go see them now as soon as you can. I love PJ, but if there was ever a Vice President more deserving of Rock God greatness standing next to Eddie.... it would be a clean and sober Scott Weiland.
Jesus... I cannot tell you people how absolutely fucking incredible they are now. You will be hearing new stuff from STP real soon.
