Your Top 5 Shows Seen Live
In all of the philly madness, I thought something to deflect the sadness for some.....
1. Camden #2 1998 - my first of 21 shows, I was supposed to go with friends who backed out the last minute, took my sister and we were off from there - no longer talk to those friends
2. Spectrum 2003 - Awesome set list, great venue and great energy from crowd
3. Borgata #2 2005 - The 7 hours waiting in line with GA tix did not drive me mad - front row between Ed and Stone
4. MSG #1 2003 - the show was surreal and I love NYC!
5. Borgata #1 2005 - intimate venue Ga tix about 10 rows from stage - one year wedding anniversary - what a way to spend it with PJ

Boston 3 (2003) [speakes for itself]
MSG 2 (1998) [infamous Breath show & my first!!!]
MSG 1 (2003) [Live at the Garden show; it was amazing hearing songs like Crown of Thorns]
Philly Wachovia (2005) [fucking great setlist and energy]
Penn St (2003) [longest show ever!]
Hartford 08 is up there too. Just a great setlist. But I dont think the band was as tight as they normally are
I also loved both Boston VFC shows, both MSG 08 & The Beacon Theater, NY, Boston 06 (Leash show), Albany 06 (rats played for 1st time in quite a while), Jones Beach 00 (Its OK show), also Boston 1 in 03 was great & underrated

1. San Francisco (Night 1, 2006). First time I was up on the railing.
2. Santa Barbara 2006. Lucky to get in and be in the 3rd Row.
3. Henry Fonda Theater 2006... mostly because I went from the gloom and doom of not getting in... to scoring a ticket that cost only $0.00.
4. San Diego 1998. First time I was up close and didn't have to fight off the tools that come in late and force their way to the front.
5. Santa Barbara 2003. A great show for a sad occasion.
Hail, Hail!!!
2. Ottawa, Ontario 9/16/05 - Incredible performance. Amazing setlist and an absolutely stunning version of Black.
3. Dallas, TX 7/5/98 - My first show. Yes, Dennis Rodman almost ruined it, but it was still my first show.
4. Hartford, CT 6/27/08 - Insane show.
5. Boston , MA - 9/28/04 - The first of the VFC warm-up shows. I think night 2 had a better set-list but night 1 was the better performance.

EV
Toronto Film Festival 9/11/2007, '08 - Toronto 1 & 2, '09 - Albany 1, '11 - Chicago 1
--Columbia, MD 1996: my first PJ show. Waited four years to see the band live and didn't even consider driving down to MD from Philly until a friend invited me to buy her spare. Never met up with her -- this was before cell phones ... -- but scalped a ticket once the music started. Running up the grass hill to the tune of "Long Road" is one of my best memories.
--Camden I 1998: Second PJ show, first via 10-C, and somehow front row! (I'm kind of OCD with mail and tickets and stuff and sent my order in like a minute after I got the newsletter.) It was surreal to see my heroes up that close. I remember being fascinated/appalled/thrilled by Iggy Pop on stage, and Ed's little "Philadelphia Freedom" bit.
--Jones Beach II 2000: Front row center -- I felt like Wayne and Garth waving their tickets in the air, walking down to our seats. So grateful. Happened to be there for maybe my top Pearl Jam moment -- the "It's OK" tag after Daughter. I had heard it in VA Beach, but Ed NAILED it this night.
--MSG II 2003: Pitch-perfect show in all respects, and the loudest crowd I've ever been a part of. The fucking stage was shaking.
--Mansfield I 2008: The final show of seven that month, I just had a blast of a day out tailgating and meeting fellow crazies and being a part of a raucous crowd.

'95 New Orleans...thought we were going to be killed
Bonnaroo....front row mike's side....3 of the greatest hours of my life after a long day of waiting...a very long day but it was definitely without a doubt no questions asked worth every damn bit of it
