looks like americanframe.com is running a sale where they give you a free basic mat board. Nothing big, but it'll save you about $10 per frame. Do they offer these kinds of deals often, ala art.com's different sales each week?the palms, in the breeze, still blow green

alex_sc wrote:I have one (non-PJ) print with the non-glare acrylic from American Frame and can't say I like it too much. I mean, I'm not a big fan of glare in general but the non-glare stuff adds kind of a fuzzy/translucent look depending on the angle. Hard to describe, really, but I stick with the regular acrylic now.

Hmmm.....
BigPoppas website has been down since Friday evening .
Could some impending Leg 2 or maybe even Leg 3 news be too far away ?
And about the tubes waiting at the post office ,
if that is true
then that means we are still due for another tube,... being that we were charged for 3 shippments . ?

Boston I
Boston II
Detroit
Cleveland
Philly I
That's it. Just those 5 posters...no extra goodies this tube. Also, there are two post office labels on the tube...one label is dated the 14th...and the other was dated the 16th...so apparently there WAS some delay and they were indeed held at the post office for a couple days before being sent out. Weird. So I guess Tube 3 will have Philly II, East Rutherford...and all the goodies.******************************

bostonlou wrote:afraid of f'ing it up and wasting the money i guess
it's weird but it also, in a way, seems like since it's so expensive to get it done by michaels or whoever... that it must be difficult
which doesn't necessarily make sense
i'm going the american frame route...
if i fuck up i'm coming to get you
p's
You really should be fine Lou. And if you come to get me, make sure it's just for helpWhich I'd be more than glad to give you if you need it.

just cracked open the tube # 2
they put all 5 posters on top of each other ( we knew that from last time .)
this time, they put the boston 1 whale on the top ( outside )
the dark purple/blue of the whales body has a line from posters top to bottom, straight thru the body of moby. wtf !
it looks like the edge of the craft paper when it was rolled up
i know you dont want to touch the ink with your fingers, or rub it , so now what the F ?
just a heads up- you may want to open it up and take a look .For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

thats weak dude. you'd think for the $50 for s/h we paid, they could've thrown in sheets of paper between each poster.
did you send them an email yet?0 -

Can you post a picture of it ? Is it a bend in the poster, or is it a mark through the image? If it's a mark, you can probably get it out.Peter: I'm gonna go microwave a bagel and have sex with it.

Man, that's horrible. I'd complain. But, I guess there isn't much they can do other than refund your money.

Art supply stores sell scummex pads. The pads are used to remove dirt and such from drawings. It's not abbrasive, but very soft, and it may work for you. It is filled with eraser like material in almost a powder form.
It was lame of them to do that. You people paid good money for their prints.
Sorry to hear this. Good luck.support The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
