Have to pay another €45 when the deluxe arrived? The UPS guy just came and gave me the bill. I just wanted the package I gave it to him. He didnt have the right change and just said "that's all I have". It's really put a dampner on the whole thing.......till I listen to it. Just wondering if any of my fellow Irish or European friends had to pay extra fees?

hey Crane, here in Europe, we have to pay for that too

    Let me explain something

    We pay 140 $ for the deluxe + 50 $ international shipping

then ups arrived and charged again 60 $

Grand total : 250 $ thanks tenclub in other shops, price is 147 $ and shipping is free for exemple here :

there are the same item 103 $ more for the tenclub ? Ouahhhhhhhhhhhhh

people who knew that, try to cancelled commands, but tenclub don't want, this is not crisis for everyone it's seems, or mayybe the tenclub is a special country and they have not the same rate change ?

I am waitin for my deluxe in switzerland I m obliged to pay now, no way to go back

If this is true it is absolute Bullshit.

I won't be ordering from 10C again if I can buy the same product in stores.
    Disgraceful.

Strummers is a she, not a he.

To the OP, sorry to hear about the extra $$$. I would definitely check with your local tax authority and UPS to see if there was some kind of an error. I know that in Canada, we still had to pay GST and provincial sales tax (if applicable) on the total.

  • I'm sorry, what? €45? I ordered two (one is a present for someone), does this mean I'll have to pay €90? There was no indication of this at any point in the buying process and I can't afford €90. As in, I physically do not have that money. Why am I only being told about this now, when it's on its way to my house? I'm genuinely worried about this because I don't have €45...let only €90 (I'm a student, and not working at the moment).

if customs have taken a closer look at this package, you sure will have to pay customs charges. and these depend on the value (i think even including shipping costs) of the item. at the moment i´m sitting at home waiting for ups ti come by. does anybody know if i can pay the delivery guy by debit/credit card or does it has to be cash?

Refuse the package, UPS returns to sender and 10c give me my money back!
No way I'm gonna pay those fees UPS paid without my consent.

I am thinking the same thing, there is no way I can afford to pay that on top of what I have already spent. Utter bullshit.

I've been in contact with UPS here in Finland and I have to pay 11,50 € to UPS, which they want for the work to clear it out of the customs and the paperwork it includes. I've understood that Ten Club put the value to 100 US dollars, and the Value added tax in Finland is 22% so thats 22 USD = 16 euros (Eur/Usd exchange rate of today: 1,36) (The US dollar is falling fast and, this may be the steepest fall in one week of the US dollar in a quarter of a century  ).

We don't have to pay custom fees for products under 150 euros and VAT only if the amount is over 10 euros, so if Ten Club would put a value of max 45 euros (let's say 55 USD ;) if the dollar strengthens again) I wouldn't have to pay VAT, either.

Hopefully the extra fees for me would be not more than 27,50 euros, which I calculated.

So depending on your country's Value added tax, custom regulations and UPS policies, these extra fees gets added.

I understand that Ten Club can't be judged for the VAT's we have but as we paid 50 US dollars for shipping I think they should have chosen a delivery deal were no extra fees that must be paid to UPS, will be added. I'm sure UPS has some contracts of that kind, were this brokerage fee or whatever it's called, will be billed to the sender of the package.

    But does an autograph worth : 140€ (10c price) + 45€ (UPS fees) - 109€ (price in a local store) = 76€ ????
And what are my chances to get one autographed? Approx 0!
And why 10c refused to cancelled my order when I asked them to 8 days ago?
  • Just recieved the Box in Germany. 45€!!! I had to pay them too.
This is reallly ridiculous!! On ebay you can get the damned thing for 139€ !
Wasn´t lucky enough to get a signed one ...that would have been worth the ectra 110$ that i paid fpr shipping and Tax!
I already ordered a few times from ten club and i never had to pay taxes so far ...
    Does anybody know, why now?
