back out now dude... strangely enough for pet lovers these guys sure can hate. :D
Dunk, come on, anybody can see that it's nothing to do with being a pet lover. I'm not a crazy animal person but I can appreciate that the emotional distress that a person who is an animal might be under when their dog dies maybe entitles them to a day off work. People here just think you should be a bit more sensitive. It's got bugger all to do with some "love pets, hate dunk" double standard. As someone else has mentioned, what's it to you if someone has a day off work? Your grievance should be with whoever didn't allow YOU one when a friend died, no? :)

People can do whatever they want with their sick days.

why is this been said on here?

we work for the government... its not HER sick day... our wages are paid for by peoples taxes... and so its THEIR sick day that she's using up.

if people put x% of their own money away into a sick fund then take days off then fair enough... but using the public purse to have a sick day for a dog might not be totally agreeable to them i would think.

Not every-time is he funny, no one is.
But the dude has a good & witty sense of humor.

    He's an arrogant lil shit

I'm sure the tax payers out there might be even more outraged to find that they pay people like you and me a lot of money to waste tons of time posting bad jokes in the PJ message pit.

we have the same boss!! i didnt get an afternoon off... she did... look, it comes across bad on here, but at least 2 of the women in the office dont think its necessary for her to be off... obviously she'll be upset, but what good can she do at home (dog was put down last night at the Vets... had been ill for weeks... she was here all morning as she had a meeting, but then went home at lunchtime).

people are too sensitive... it gets a bit boring on here with all the nicey niceness... i'm bored of it... sorry, but i am... man.. i'm going to be the worlds angriest pensioner :D
