I saw someone hit a dog when I was around 10...that is still burned in my memory.
And a couple years ago I saw someone hit a raccoon and I burst into tears for about an hour. I was inconsolable. I still remember it limping off into the woods and it broke my heart. :(

I react with far more emotion when I see an animal hurt than I do if it is a person. Maybe that's wrong but I don't care.Idaho's Premier Outdoor Writer

back out now dude... strangely enough for pet lovers these guys sure can hate.oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -
I've got to add my two cents worth here. Dogs are family and upon the death of one them they would be treated like family. What is even worse would be grieving over a lost pet and also knowing that your co-workers were ridiculing you and berating you over your feelings of loss. The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals.
