Lucky by Alice Sebol. It's her about her being raped in college. Intense, scary, and sad. :(

    Duma Key by Stephen King.

Haven't read a book for pleasure in many years. Couldn't think of a better author to start back up with either.

Thought it was overrated, but if you like it try Henri Barbusse: The Inferno (L'Enfer) or Sartre: The Diary Of Antoine Roquentin (Nausea), my favourite take on the outsider theme is Notes From the Underground & The Devils.

I'm really enjoying that book right now. It's everything you want a book to be: I can't wait to get back to reading it and I don't want it to end.

"Twilight of the Mammoths Ice Age Extinctions and the Rewilding of America" by Paul S. Martin. He's talking a lot about fossilized ground sloth dung in the part that I am currently reading. :D

  • Invisible Darkness: The Horrifying Case of Paul Bernardo & Karla Homolka.

A true story that happened in Canada in the 90's. I had no idea that the police dropped the ball on this one so badly until I started this book. The story is sad and horrifying. As bad as he is.... she got away with murder. Karma, Karla. Remember that.

It's timely that there is a big beef recall today.

I'm starting the Sexual Politics of Meat by Carol J. Adams. I decided to just continue with the same subject for a bit.
