    Didn't that trade took place while Theo was on tour with Pearl Jam? I thought that Theo was actually against making that trade, not wanting to give up both Sanchez and Ramirez.

    (And how did Omar Minaya miss out on a trade where he could have brought in a Sanchez AND a Ramirez?)

    This is just me, but why isn't Oki up in the bullpen. In Boston it will be all hands on deck all weekend and if it comes to Game 7 and Dice K is struggling, wouldn't we want Beckett available for two or three innings?

    If it stays 3 runs, we should bring in Oki.

    More than that, bring in Timlin.

    But most important, get Beckett out of the game right now. He's at 95 pitches. Why keep him in any longer?

    beckett won't pitch again this series, that would be rough ... imo ... back injury and all ....

    if they were up by 4 or 5 ... maybe they'd pull him ... but ... only up 3 ... well, don't need to tell you that the tribe are able to put up 6 in an inning ...

    He's 27, and I know if he's hurt he shouldn't, but we're going to need him on Sunday. I don't have a lot of confidence in Dice K and Lester and Wakes backing me up doesn't inspire much confidence in me either.

    They won't put 6 up against the combo of Timlin, Oki and Paps.

    looks like jacoby is in the line-up tonight, batting 8th. no other changes than that.

    As much as I've dogged him all season, I must give credit where credit is due: JD DREW!!!!! Grand Slam in the first inning kinda makes me forget how much he's sucked all year!
