the demand isnt there simple0

Indifference wrote:Usually when acts dont tour for awhile it actually creates more demand when they actually do.
I think that's generally true, but there is a point where people finally give up.
Three factors that may be at play too - weeknight, mid-sized market (Tampa) and the show is during the off season. Many bands time their shows here for the Winter tourist season.
I do have to laugh though. Last time around jammers from cities with shows were saying, "Just travel to the shows. It's no big deal." Hmmm, well folks - why are you sitting on your wallets? Pony up and travel down here this time.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me...0 -
hour later and tickets are still available.......
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN THE SOUTH
Play the northeast where there is the highest concentration of ten club members, and tickets will sell out in 5 minutes. seems like a no brainer to me.PJ: Hartford 6/27/08 Mansfield 6/30/08 Philly 3 Oct. 30 2009

dude, you are talking about cities such as New York and Boston where the population is much higher. I didn't expect the 10C tickets to sell out for these shows because there just isn't enough 10C members in these areas. But I am sure the shows themself will sell out.
take your ignorant hatred somewhere else.Seeing visions of falling up somehow.

I was born in Peru too, raised here though
Hope you get good tickets and have a blast at the show"Without the album covers, where do you clean your pot?" - EV0 -
So, I guess the fact that the Gorge shows in 06 never sold out on 10c seats means that no one in the PNW likes them either. I guess that's why they never play Seattle. How quickly they sell out has a lot to do with how many tickets the 10c is able to procure. What ain't a country I ever heard of. Do they speak English in what?0

I flew through the purchase for the Gorge and they were available for hours and hours after they went on sale, so I guess folks up there dont like PJ no more...."Without the album covers, where do you clean your pot?" - EV0 -

Maybe it is possible that Pearl Jam has worked out a deal where there is no limit to how many fanclub tickets can be purchased so like the MSG shows a few years ago it is possible that if people continue to buy until the ticketmaster sale begins the entire arena or most of it could be 10c members.Oh I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands
the ones I love,..
Some folks just have one,
yeah, others, they've got none, huh-uh0 -

Is that true? Two shows in the Gorge and 10c didn't sell their allotment?0 -
