shut up. this is much more enjoyable wait until later in the week when all you east coast wankers are bitching & complaining because the largest city in the USA sold out in 2 minutes.
10 min in, site hasnt crashed once and tix are still available.
ha ha ha I was just thinking the same thing.....I forgot they went on sale today since I am not interested in those, and I looked at my clock and was thinking.....wait, how am I on the board posting things, went into goods, checked my profile - not even a tiny bit slow!!!

I think he just means the length of the time the presale tickets are still sitting there is indicative of the smaller fan base in the south...these tickets would be long gone for most east coast cities - gives us an idea of why the band seems to be more comfortable touring certain cities
maybe the fact that they have avoided the area seemingly on purpose for 5 years has eroded the fanbase. maybe this is not why they don't play the south, but what they get when they don't. sucks for those of us who have stuck with it...
i'll be hitting my region of the south, but not florida

Usually when acts dont tour for awhile it actually creates more demand when they actually do.

I think that's generally true, but there is a point where people finally give up.
Three factors that may be at play too - weeknight, mid-sized market (Tampa) and the show is during the off season. Many bands time their shows here for the Winter tourist season.
I do have to laugh though. Last time around jammers from cities with shows were saying, "Just travel to the shows. It's no big deal." Hmmm, well folks - why are you sitting on your wallets? Pony up and travel down here this time.
Play the northeast where there is the highest concentration of ten club members, and tickets will sell out in 5 minutes. seems like a no brainer to me.

dude, you are talking about cities such as New York and Boston where the population is much higher. I didn't expect the 10C tickets to sell out for these shows because there just isn't enough 10C members in these areas. But I am sure the shows themself will sell out.
take your ignorant hatred somewhere else.

actually dont waste time in shit small cities like West Palm Beach. Play Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Birmingham, places with actual populations.
So, I guess the fact that the Gorge shows in 06 never sold out on 10c seats means that no one in the PNW likes them either. I guess that's why they never play Seattle. How quickly they sell out has a lot to do with how many tickets the 10c is able to procure.
What ain't a country I ever heard of. Do they speak English in what?
